I feel like a lot of people were worried that Pauper is perhaps a market that isn't worth buying into. Now that there is going to be tabletop support of this format, I am just wondering who else has played this format in paper, what you play, and for how long. I play Mono Black Control. I even wrote a primer that I never actually posted, and would now need to rewrite. Here's my deck! Pauper Mono-Black control-love the hate. Come at me with your own tried and tested archetype decks. Last week was the first tabletop pauper tourney I had played in a year, and I went 4-1 with my only loss to elves in three. Felt good to jam some mbc, and farm some tears again. I look forward to seeing lots of you all at gps on the East Coast!

I play pauper and am excited to see what happens now that there will be sanctioned games for it. I play selesnya hexproof (bogles basically) and ive had the deck for about a year.

Bogles is super solid. I have a build in my pile of decks and feel like its usually a ridiculously explosive creature combo deck. The amount of lifepoint swings it can execute in a turn is super gross.

Boza thanks! I love any black based control decks. Pauper enables me to go 100pct full bore into that.

I have a few Paper Pauper decks. Two mono white ones those being soldiers and the other is tokens/weenies. Then I have a Sliver one and an Izzet one. I've had the first two for over a year and the last two for the last couple months. My favorites are Izzet and Soldiers. I love the format and am glad to see it grow. Although that means we will see some price jumps if it really takes off. Oh well!

Izzet pauper is the one I use, I dont follow the format very closely so I dont know if the deck is in a high tier in pauper but it works well enough. Nothing but burn amd draw spells

Isn't there a pretty competitive pauper deck based around the Presence of Gond+Midnight Guard interaction?

Hyperalgialysis, izzet blotz creature storm is a fine and powerful deck. I like it as t2. I think ur delver is just currently more powerful as an izzet tempo deck.

K34, selesnya gond combo is like somewhere around t3, mainly because it is slow, a little removal light, and disrupted by other meta decks. It is super fun, tho. I have a build of it. Pss, i meant blitz. Excuse the fat thumbs.

I already have 5 pauper decks, but MBC has always had a soft spot in my heart and I will try to build it. Your list gives me some pointers.
