i can not understand why Standard Bearer is sideboarded. am i just misunderstanding this. i asked my friend why and all he says was ''yeah its good''
why? explain? should i have it sideboarded
For pauper. He has to be targeted or killed first before you can kill other things.

I wouldn't use it against a deck with a lot of removal, because it doesn't give any card advantage. Instead I would put another creature.But it works insanely good against decks that need to buff their own creatures with sorceries or auras. If they don't draw removal it's impossible to buff their own creatures.

This would be more appropriate in the correct forum topic. ie if this is for a modern deck, EDH deck, or just a casual deck.
