Help with Mono-Green

I've been running Mono-Green for just about the entire duration of Pioneer, steadily making improvements as I go. I've only got one top at my locals to my credit, but I'm a novice and not expecting to just dominate with only 3 months of experience.
This was the list that I ran at Pioneer this past weekend, and I went 1-2.
From what I've been hearing, I'm running too many lands (that I should go from 23 to 20), and that I should drop the 3 Hydras and the 2 Nissas. Regardless, any help would be appreciated.
i see you also like stomping thru with green fat
this is my list right now and prequarantine and its been solid for me with the exception of one tournament i showed up to and faced 3 straight monoblack decks lol. it pisses off inverter players by getting turn 4 to 5 wins against them.
i like your idea tho and i wanna try out thrash/threat.
also... blossoming defense is an mvp in this format

If you do end up dropping the lands, making your curve lower may help you out a bit. Running another Lovestruck Beast seems good for you as you have a handful of 1/1s Aspect of Hydra is really good for you and I see it giving you about 5 power on average, I’m shocked you only run 2 of them. Beast Whisperer can keep your hand full and let you keep the Nissas, if that’s relevant to your interests.
