I have a rackdos pyro deck and one of its worst match-ups is bant spirits. because one of the main attractions of the pyro deck is the ability to pump out elemental tokens as chump-blockers, the flying threats of spirits are a very real problem. How do I beat spirits? Sideboard cards, maindeck playable cards, I just need a solution.

Yes, that would be my go to were I playing any other deck, but I do sort of care about the tempo loss of my own creatures dying.

Besides Pyroclasm which will kill your own creatures, Corrosive Gale seems like a good solution. You can pay 2 life to cast it, then spend the exact amount of mana you need to kill all the flying spirits at once.

Since my last posts were not helpful, I tried doing some research to see if I could actually come up with something useful, and I did, albeit janky.
Firstly, Blazing Volley only targets the opponent and kills un-buffed spirits. So you may want to run several copies in the maindeck or sideboard.
Secondly, the most accessible spell in Pioneer for neutralizing flyers is Gruul Charm, so if you really think spirits are that problematic, you could run 3-4 of them on the sideboard, and maindeck some green mana, like Mana Confluence, Stomping Ground, Overgrown Tomb, etc. Maybe even some cycling lands like Sheltered Thicket. Janky, I know. But there aren’t many options for Rakdos in Pioneer to deal with fliers.

Have you considered Golden Demise or even better Witch's Vengeance.

psionictemplar, Witch's Vengeance seems great! Not sure if there are many other decks it hoses, but it does whack many of those spirits out of the air. Thank you.

Well.... I'd say Anger of the Gods or Sweltering Suns..... but that doesn't quite work.
