2016 pauper challenge?

So, I was thinking of reviving zandl's "Pauper Challenge" for 2016 standard (before rotation), and I was wondering if anybody might be interested?

Making cheap decks is kind of what I do anyways, so here we go! :D

I got a couple ideas.

I would have assumed the "here we go" part was sufficient enough to indicate that, but since I guess I have to spell everything out: Yes, I will be participating in this challenge.

I'd love it if you did this. Just remember to have a banlist if necessary (I haven't looked into standard pauper) - last year no Gray Merchant of Asphodel were allowed.

@canterlotguardian, great!

@robo12385, IzzetFanatic,

To explain to you and anyone else, basically everybody builds pauper decks (60 cards, all commons or BL from recent sets (KTK-OGW)), and they are played in a tournement against other decks. I just need to find out more of the rules from zandl, I just made the thread to seek interest.

IzzetFanatic, robo12385, ChrisH, LordJello, canterlotguardian; I am moving foward with the idea. I decided the format is Theros Block only. Are you still interested? (Note: We nay hav ed to ban Gray Merchant of Asphodel if need be)

Atony1400 - That would be OK, but I would enjoy making some new brews for KTK-OGW. I haven't looked into Standard Pauper, but that is what the challenge always was, and it would be very interesting to me to have a fresh format. Either way, but again, KTK-OGW sounds better to me.

All right, ChrisH, KTK-OGW it is! Now we just need some more players!

Awesome - I have another friend on the site and he will probably brew something as well. I should have a submission in by the end of the week. I won't look at net decks for the format so my creation will be unique!

I was thinking of giving you all about 3 weeks; until April 2nd, 11:59 EST. That gives plenty of time to brew, test, and modify.

10-4 buddy. Brb brewing.

@AwildaHarrison,

All you need to do is create a deck, created of commons from standard sets, and link it to the deck above!
