I recently hit the 3 year mark as a member and I have so much to be thankful to Tappedout for. Not just the site but the helpful and attentive members who have helped me throughout my time here. Just wanted to say you are all awesome and thank you for everything.
Now I want to know, how long have you been a member and how has Tappedout helped/benefited you?

Probably almost a year and a half now. I'm soooo much of a better player now.
And somehow, I managed to hit the 7 spot. :)

About just over a year now, so glad I found this website. I love the community here. I've also learned how to make better decks and become a better player in general.

Three years. My deckbuilding and playing skills have vastly improved because of this site. The community here on T/O, overall, is amazing.
Props to you folks!

Little over two years. My deck building skills have improved a lot since joining. I have a better understanding on why such and such card should be in a deck and why another should not when they do the same thing, cost the same, etc. Also helps when you have such a kickass community such as TO's to help with that.

On this site, Epochalyptik is a Time Lord with the powers of a Dalek.

Like a lot of people I've been here for like 1.5-1.75 years. Tappedout has honestly changed my life. Not only have I been able to improve upon my skills as a player, but I've found many people who I consider to at least be acquaintances in addition to beginning my content creation. It's all great!

One year old as of late August, about 13 months into this community and to Magic. The site has been fantastic in offering knowledge and criticisms for me. I still remember thinking I'd never buy shocklands.

I was introduced to this site during a magic extra curricular class at school. That being said, the site says that i have been on here for 2 years, though i actually think that it has been 3... Either way, i still remember the first deck that i put on here (4 of every sword, 4 Batterskull , 2 Argentum Armor , and no jitte / stoneforge).
...
I think that i am better???

Somewhere near 1.5 years. It's been a nice place to learn some, and a great place to brew with a strong deck building/storing/playtesting utility and a fun community.

It's been about a year and a half for me. I've been through three usernames, hundreds of decks, three formats, and way too much money. I started off by playing a BW Humans deck with Deathcult Rogue and Elder Cathar as my best cards, now I'm playing the grindiest midrange I can in two different formats. To say I've improved is like saying technology has improved in the last century. I still have a ways to go, but I know the T/O community will help me get there.

Ha, I tagged my first deck Modern since I wanted to play Clifftop Retreat . I'd slap myself if I can go back in time. Good times...

I've only been a member for a year. I started playing around the same time. I learned a lot of new cards from this site. Thanks for helping me with my decks, everyone!

It has been some time since the last new comment so I will post now. I like the amount of traffic this got and thank you all for commenting. I enjoyed reading everyone's responses, especially you Epochalyptik. That timeless joke was...priceless. I'll see my self out after the that one. Thank you all again and keep on being awesome.

Just a month, but I'm enjoying my time here theorycrafting! I've already gotten better at making budget decks than the friends that introduced me to the game itself.

My timer on my page says 2 years but I think it must be near to ticking over.
T/O has kept me up to date and helped me so much in the area of deckbuilding. I'm really grateful for this community, the people in it, and everyone that has helped me along the way.
Except for zandl, screw that guy. ;)

Around a year and ~four months. I've learned a lot from looking at other decklists and arguing with people, and without this community I wouldn't have been able to tune my Infect deck to where it is today, nor have come up with the other ideas that I have. You people are awesome.

Ive been on for 3 years now, crept up to 136. This site has helped me immensely, not only in my deck building skills, but in my knowledge of the game. Aside from that, there is a solid system set up for online trading that has helped me get tons of cards I needed. The community is very friendly on the whole.
I deleted my facebook a couple years ago and started using this site a lot more. I got so sick of facebook. My homepage would be full of people bitching, and stupid crap I could care less about. Plus Im one of those goons that believe big brother is watching. So now my homepage is full of peoples deck ideas, and discussions relating to magic, things I actually care about. Very happy I made tappedout.net my social network.
SwiftDeath, 3 years and no upgrade? Totally worth it man.

I've passed the 1 year mark a while ago, but this site helps me feed my deck building addiction, even if most of them are crap.

I feel new around here after reading these posts... 3-4 months I've been here...
I came for the great resources this site provided and stayed for the discussions we have. I've managed to get into the 600s range now as well. I haven't played too much longer than this either. Coming up on one year.
September 25, 2014 11:50 a.m.
@8vomit: You're 136? I'm 137. I'm coming for you.
September 25, 2014 11:52 a.m.
almost 3, ranked 121. come ooon top 100!
But for real though this site has completely upped my game and changed the way I look at Magic. I don't have a lot of friends who still play Magic, so I more often than not I was making two decks so that I could play against myself. Which is obviously a really bad way to learn. I started here as a borderline newb, just stumbling on the website, and used everything provided here along with the stellar community to gain a firm grasp on the game. All you guys on here have been a life saver for me because without you, I think I would have given up on the game. Now I'm just trying to pass the knowledge this site has given me onto others. I spend more time on here now than any other website. I love having people to debate Magic with and bounce ideas off of. Deck building is worlds easier and I couldn't be happier with the product. Number one on my favorites list. All you guys that made this deserve all the praise in the world. It really is a masterpiece and the attention you guys continue to pay to us as the community and the function of the site is wonderful. I'd tag all you guys, but I don't want to leave someone out. Thanks for everything guys, and I wish you continued success.

26 Months.
This site has become the place I frequent when I'm on the internet. The community here is like a home away from home. Often more peaceful. lol Like DarkHero said, having people to bounce ideas off of before I invest a lot of time and money testing IRL has really been helpful.
Before I started here EDH was something I had dreamed about but had only really got my toes wet. Coming here and having some of the more educated community members provide feedback has helped me grow as a deck-builder in such an immense format.
I've also found my rules knowledge improving steadily thanks to the Q&A.
Thanks everybody!
