Anyone near Houghton, MI?

I'm starting college at Michigan Tech this fall, and I was wondering if anyone else is from around there/going up as well. It's supposed to be a small community, which would make meeting a fellow Tappedouter even better!

Houghton is at the base of the large peninsula at the top of the UP. 8-9 hour drive. :/
