what are your current MTG goals?
mine are as follow in priority.
1 of every ajani in english and Russian. I need an english goldmane and steadfast. I need all the russian ones.
I want to open 1 of every Khan and both of the planeswalkers. I have opened 1 foil Surrak Dragonclaw 2 Zurgo Helmsmasher 2 Narset, Enlightened Master 1 Anafenza, the Foremost and 2 Sorin, Solemn Visitor

In the close future? Finish assembling my standard Jeskai Tempo deck. Further still? Assemble modern merfolk. After that? Win/top 8 a big event such as a PTQ...what? Are my goals unrealistic?

Immediate goal- Finally think of and create the deck I want to run (or start with) during this standard.*
Long-term goal- Actually buy/trade up and build that deck.**
*Doesn't look like its gonna happen. (Stop procrastinating!)

Well.. Before I joined tapped out I had only placed 8th at fnm as my highest placement. I want to do better my next fnm and get higher!

Honestly, I'd be overjoyed if my article series some day turned into something more. Perhaps writing and playtesting alongside the big names? Gotta shoot for the moon, right?
Besides that, It's always been a dream of mine to create and pilot a rogue deck of mine to a top 8 (at least) of a major event.

I haven't played paper magic since a month before rotation. I need to finish my modern deck, and get a standard one put together. I have no idea what to play in standard.
Plus, I procrastinate way too much.

Short term (more of a middle term because it'll still take poor me a while to afford it): build a tier one Modern deck with my own spin on it.
Long term: become a level 3 or higher judge.

In actuality, I'd like to win a tournament or two, and finish acquiring the fetches I need.

Become a cardkitty-level alterist, or an artist for WotC. I'm fairly new in the alter art division, and already I have massive demand on my alters at the EDH lounge I play at.

I'd like to put some of the core pieces in my EDH decks together. Not even tat expensive, just that there's a ton I need.
As for goals in my playergroup, I want to continue being the first person to get targeted in EDH in every game because 'fuck your decks'.
