Also, latex is hit or miss. Leather is where it's at. I find it hard to get in the mood if it sounds like my partner's inflating a pool raft every time she moves.

Fam, I loved him and Tchaikovski before it was mainstream. Oh wait, wasn't it already mainstream 100 years before my birth? Does that make me a steampunk hipster?
Also, Flffy's wall is almighty. I'm not on it yet (or if yes I didn't know) but I'm already on the T/O historian's one (CanadianShinobi), so it's already a good achievement :>

Tchaikovski's a pure romantic, while Rachmaninoff (who lived across both 19th and 20th century) came a bit after the romantic movement with an unrivalized maestria...
For the little story, I thought first that hypnosis was just bullshit. Then I noticed that the piano concerto n2 was composed Under hypnosis. Then I've been hypnotised by a good friend of mine. :>

Rachmaninoff came after the Romantic mouvement was pretty much over, but his music is without a doubt deeply romantic. With some extra touches, obviously :)

The 19th century was -in my opinion- one of the best period of time to live if you're only considering music... There's almost everything, from Beethoven to Rachmaninoff, along with Bizzet, Berlioz, Lizt...

20th century for me. You retain a lot of the old world charm but you also have the explosion in popular music too. Shostakovich was also excellent.

The 20th has cinema! And the Woman of my dreams, Audrey Hepburn! This century was Worth living just for her being a part of it. Don't forget Ravel and Prokoviev too ;)
France and Russia were the best places to create music at the time! Highly educated Russians like Tchaikovski and Rachmaninoff were speaking French, after all :p
