A friend of mine plays EDH with Phage the Untouchable as his commander. The great thing is he's won a few games by killing them with her.

There are many cards to make Phage the Untouchable viable as a Commander. I really want to build a deck with her, but need to finish my Progenitus deck first.

I've been planning on getting into EDH for the longest time now. It's hard for me to get into it because no one I know in RL plays it, we usually stick with modern or casual.

Was not able to will myself to not get cards again. Today's pickup was a Hokori, Dust Drinker, Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite, Yosei, the Morning Star, and Myojin of Cleansing Fire. Such long names.

The Elesh Norn I actually got for 25, which is slightly under market price but it's still money. I'm definitely done buying shit for a while.

NoviceMagician get a friend or 2 on-board with the EDH idea, and get the C14 decks. You could even get a couple so you can let someone else play. Those are really good for entering the format.

Nothing in the game of EDH is better than using Myojin of Night's Reach to wipe out five other people's hands. Nothing.

I'm not even sure myself, to say I'm not even sure she's going out with someone and if I'm not sure then I won't have the guts to ask her and if I don't then there will be more chances that she will already have a boyfriend and oh fuck my life I'm so fucking confused about my own fucking place in this fucking world that it's not even funny anymore (damn English only have the word "fucking" to swear, French is way more diversified)... DAMN MYSELF.
And even Rachmaninov doesn't seem to be helpful tonight. @-@

If you feel that way about someone always go for it. If they say no, then you have your answer, and you don't have to worry about it anymore.
NoviceMagician building your own on a budget is good too, but starting out it might be tricky doing it that way. The precons are well balanced, and great for learning.
My friends and I started with the don't spend too much deal, and it led to an arms race. Since I had better cards to start with, then they matched/exceeded what I had, then I did the same.

@NoviceMagician: Definitely think about picking up a precon as an entrance to the format. The new C14 mono-colored ones were actually pretty nice decks, and you can probably still find the previous cycle of precons on Amazon for about MSRP.

Oh! I just remembered! The town I used to live in, I knew some people who played EDH at the lgs there. It's only twenty minutes away, so I could always go there to get into it too! The owner is really nice and he even suggested I buy one of the EDH decks last time I was there. I can't believe I forgot about that!

Yes, but I'm so stupidly arrogant that I'm afraid of the shame I would feel if she does... Especially since she's almost never alone. Yeah, I know, there are a lot of ways to find ways so it would seem normal in a casual discussion but truth is, if I've never been a coward before now I am one of thre greatest ones Earth has ever seen since archean times!
And well, sorry for the inconvenience my dear friends, but it has to explode, brace yourselves shitty amounts of self-pride are incoming: I'm extremly jalous of that other guy. I'm better than him on every aspects, I'm a magician, I've played theater a lot, I've composed some music, my grades are better than his, I'm a harpist do you hear that I am a MOTHERFUCKING harp-fucking-ist, I've done fencing at a competitive level, I play guitar and piano a bit (I mean shitty), I have a lot of cinema and music culture, all those things he doesn't have, I've got the very same personnality that she has but he has the only thing that counts in this domain and that I lack since my birth: charisma. And even if I want to top him on every single aspect, I can't even hate him... Because he's funny and friendly.
Jeez, I'm really screwed up. But thank you all, you're really nice to listen to me tonight. It's only the second time in my life that I haven't a clue about what to do, and I hate myslef for being so self confident usually...
Pfew, all this stuff had to come out of my mouth. Sorry again, I've got to cool myself down.
By the way, one day I'll play you guyz/girlz some harp. Tell me what you would want to hear from me! :>

Llama, that is just an excuse. Just ask her. You can talk yourself up all you want. It does not matter though. Just ask her. Not ask her if she has a boyfriend. Ask her if she wants to go out with you. A clear question with an unavoidable answer. Yes, or no. Those are the only answers to that that you should accept.
If you ask a question that has vague intention, then you will get a vague answer.
