Is Untap better than Cockatrice? I tried Untap but couldn't really figure it out. The majority of my Cockatrice experience consists of being kicked for a turn one Thoughtseize, Goblin Guide, or something like that.

Wait, you can change how the site shuffles? That's cool. In any case, I prefer untap over cock-atrice because cockatrice isn't letting me download card images.

Spoilers gotta be pretty soon. If you're following the mothership, it's Origins week, and the set comes out in a little over a month. They usually do two or three weeks of spoilers, which would mean they begin in a few weeks.

They're also doing origin stories of the 5 planeswalkers once a week. (also worth mentioning, is that Gideon is from Theros. Y'know, the Theros that we were LITERALLY just in.)

I'm excited to see Vryn and Regatha. As planes featured in one of the best multiplayer formats (Planechase) that have never been seen on other cards, WotC has some big expectations to meet. Also, anyone notice the new plane? Kaladesh hype.

Yeah, but I think they also made some cop-outs. Like Giddy going to Bant (it just seems like all the good people come from Bant), and Nissa going to Lorwyn (why does this make sense?). And if we're taking the Planechase route, they should've gone to Xerex (see Stairs to Infinity).

Have any of you traded puca points on here? I made a big mistake over the last week that is kind funny, now I need to point up.
So I had breeding pool sitting on my list since I started, but nothing. I tried removing, and replacing it a couple times. Still no hits. Checked the list for people wanting it, I was not on there.
So I checked my profile. I had it on vacation mode somehow. Whoops. As soon as I realized that breeding pool went up like 30 points over what I have. I feel dumb. Was sitting there for a couple weeks waiting, and screwed up.

Gideon Jura actually seems like a romanticized version of his Therosian name, Kytheon Iora. He probably got it on Bant while serving in the legions.
Nissa going to Lorwynn makes sense because elves. The elves of Lorwynn were also if the opinion that they were the elite race of the plane. So yeah.

Not sure if he can be a demon and possess a spark at the same time. Maybe he'll get his spark back and un-demonify?

That's like saying you don't think Bolas and Ugin can't be dragons and planewalkers at the same time. Karn is a robot, and he has a spark. There's no rule saying demons can't possess a spark.

Actually, there kinda is. To my knowledge there has been no Angel or Demon Planeswalker in MTG's history. Both species are pure manifestations of white and black mana respectively, not built like constructs or born like any other species and thus don't have a soul (I think. I might just be pulling that out of my ass off other information). An example is the demons on Innistrad. They can be killed, but they will eventually just reform. Which is why the silver Helvault was used to trap them rather than Avacyn just slaying them, because once slain they'd just come back.
Also, Ob Nix's transformation into a demon thanks to Zendikar's mana caused him to lose the spark. He was then attacked by Nahiri and bound. That to me suggests there can't be a mixture of demon and Planeswalker.

tl;dr, angels and demons don't have souls. Planeswalker sparks require souls. What this means for people with souls who transformed into these "soulless" creatures I'm not sure.

But now he can harness the power of hedrons, so he might regain his spark from that. Maybe. Idk. He'll at least be on Zendikar, though, which makes me happy!

If I remember correctly from one of the Uncharted Realms articles, Nahiri trapped Ob on Zendikar as soon as he planeswalked there. Like, he stepped through and she just popped out of a bunch of rocks and shoved a hedron in his forehead.

Don't you hate it when you're so sure of something that you go to prove it and you're wrong? MTGSalvation says that:
- Ob became a demon because of the Chain Veil
- Ob lost his spark from arrival on Zendikar-Ob lost his wings as a result of being bound, and him getting his wings back is what is represented by Ob Nixilis, Unshackled, which was not my original interpretation
- A planeswalker spark requires a soul, which Ob does not have
I enjoy debates. I learn so much from being wrong all the time.

I have hated Florida for a long time. The weather blows and it's an elephant graveyard for old people. And every single house/residence is like, up kept perfectly. Uniform houses, uniform hedges, etc. Creepy as fuck.

I have learned something of vital importance. There is apparently a way to change the shuffler algorithm that untap.in uses. Hopefully this will put a stop to my land problems.
