Oh, certainly, I definitely understand that. But if I do end up doing that to someone, I generally apologize and switch decks to something that is less powerful. I know that my Rhys the Redeemed deck is really powerful and can technically win on turn three, and if I have one of the combos that pulls that off, I'm going to use it. But I'm not going to laugh at someone and say they suck just because my deck is built to do stuff like that. That's just stupid.

Oh, this argument? I mean, I play Ob Nixfall, because it's fun. Said online person plays Arcum Dagsson because it wins. It all depends how you view the format. That being said, he could've handled it differently.
Also, how does one deal with parents that hate you? I need serious advice here.

Well, I mean, you could have saved up for the deck. $30 isn't that hard to get. Doing some extra chores around the house and whatnot. But, you know, selling out your friend is a good plan, too.

Well, technically, none of us NEED to build any of these. It is not a necessity of life to play Magic, much as all of us tout it to be. It is also not something that many of us are contractually obligated to do. For instance, I have signed over quite a bit of my life to the bank to ensure that I continue paying for my car, so that is a thing I need to do. Which has really made it so that most of my money goes there rather than to Magic. But I still can buy some things from time to time. Like an HP Mana Drain. Good times...

On the note of origins cards: I'm pretty happy with Kytheon overall.
I'm legit just looking around at decks wondering where he would be good. One place that I thought of might be a bit surprising: Mardu Aristocrats.
Post combat untapping a Falkenrath Aristocrat to block with? Seems good. Mardu has a ton of the right removal to keep the board clear for Kytheon as well. To boot it's a 1 mana 4/4 at the worst.
Since you don't care if Bloodghast dies there's not really a point in not attacking to flip him. Combine that with his "come at me bro" +2 and it means that you can guarantee they die on the swing back.

ItchiUchiha117 Commander is the time where I sit down to just to play some Magic and enjoy it. I stop caring about winning and I build thematic decks for the sheer enjoyment of it. When someone then basically says, "Nope you don't get to play Magic because your deck isn't competitve like mine" then that just ruins my day.
I realize Commander can be competitive, but it still irks me when stuff like that happens early in a game.
