Because of the iron that is in it. It helps to transport oxygen throughout your blood stream.
Fun fact: Period blood has a lot more iron in it than regular blood. Which is a contributor to why many women get iron deficiency at child-bearing ages.

I am now kinda curious; then why did my brother need to take iron pills? According to some doctor...
Though he does enjoy eating black olives so... that could be it. Or the fact of his own personal consumption of certain food(s).

A lot of things like the feeling of bodily weakness or being quickly out of breath or unable to perform actions that require physical exertion are all things that are caused by iron deficiency. It could also because he isn't eating meat. While we do get iron from plants, our intestines can't absorb it as well as the iron from meat.

Like I have stated before - I went vegan for a few. And I had never noticed deficiency of iron in self growth. Happened to be routinely exercising during those days. All the while working a full time job.

Does anyone else find it extraordinarily frustrating when someone puts a winking face at the end of a message in which they've told you they aren't going to do something with / for you then, but they might in the future? Like, that's some kind of incredible favor that they might someday do something that may benefit you? And it's only the little face that frustrates me, too. I'm perfectly fine with someone telling me something like they can't do a trade with me, but they might later. But that little winking face just makes them seem just a bit more like an asshole.
Ah well, doesn't actually matter, I'm just venting.

I just lost a tooth! Woo! Well, if it isn't itchi, nice to have you back. But my tooth was a molar with another molar allready sticking out of the gum underneath it. I really DO love watermelon. I know the tooth fairy isn't real, but my parents might still give me a few bucks, woo!:) on a related note,I'm broke for having lost my life savings of 25 dollers at my grandmas house. O well. But on an unrelated note. School starts tommorow...... Why is the world so cruel?

Yeah. Middle school is the easiest bruh. Never actually have to do ANY work to get top marks. That and it is the time where I shined.

.... Femme? Be quiet please. I highly doubt that you had to do commen core, which IS semi easy, just redundant so if your not redundant enough you get a lower grade. That's baisicly how it works now.

Then it's different over there. Over here, Middle school is basically where a child learns to become irresponsible with schoolwork because throughout 3 school years (sometimes even to the first one of high school) you never have to do any of it to get good grades.

Man, I hardly have ANY time to come on this site anymore, let alone play MTG. Which sucks, because I like playing, but other responsibilities get in the way. I also hardly even brew anymore, because I don't have time to focus on a project like that. Sucks to be me.
On the bright side, I'm doing good with a shitty deck (Voltron). Had it not been for MOTHERFUCKING BULLSHIT Thopter Spy Network, I would've taken 4th. Blech. I want that sexy SV promo. But to be fair, I didn't have a sideboard. Someone halp :) Oh, and did I mention it was $30?
In other news, I'm at a summer camp rn. Doing Jewish stuff, but it's at a Christian retreat. seems legit
JC3 actually doesn't lag for me at all. When someone complains of lag, we'll start anew.

Yeah, no new thread until it gets really bad. And even then, most are questioning why we should even make a new one. I don't really care ever way, but I think this thread does have its moments.

Middle school was very redundant for me.
I moved after the 7th grade to a different school, and what they were doing in 8th at my new school, I had done in 7th at the last one. Of course the same thing happened in elementary school.
And now it's about to happen with high school too...
But damn, transferring high schools in junior year should be... Interesting.

I just discovered the magical imagination powers of buses. Try staring at the roof of a bus and letting your mind wander. Also, i had the realization that Magic and baseball are both games involving oddly dressed people, but Magic makes more sense.

I would play it in almost literally everything. Dropping that down when you have higher board presence than an opponent is pretty much GG... I love it. I still really just want to see what Phyrexia has evolved into since we last saw it, though. I know Infect has gotta be pretty high on the Storm Scale (like, a 7 or 8), but I really want to have it in Standard again, because I'm a bastard.

I just had an excellent game of EDH. I was using my Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir deck, Hold On, I Just Need A Bit More Time, against someone using my Rhys the Redeemed deck, Well, it's TECHNICALLY Mono-Green, and a Teferi, Temporal Archmage combo control deck. (I think? He didn't do too much beyond play things for free with a Temporal Aperture.) Got stuck on lands for a while and finally got to six mana, dropped Caged Sun and passed. Got to my turn, I'm at 11, the elf deck has taken some hits from a Psychosis Crawler I'd landed turn four off of a Mana Drain and has a bunch of tokens, and the other Teferi player is doing what he does, which wasn't much. Cast my Teferi. Responds by digging with the Aperture and getting a Pearl Lake Ancient. Fine. I decide this is the exact point in time that I should play my Knowledge Pool, because hard locks are fun when it isn't you. Everyone gets confused, I explain it, and then look at the board states. I have a Phantasmal Image copying a Breaching Leviathan, Teferi, and no other creatures. Shit, guess I'm dead. Start laughing at the fact that I killed myself and that Omniscience was the first card I exiled with the Pool. Oh well, my elf deck was going to win anyways. Issue is, if he swings at me, the blue deck is going to probably combo out and kill him. So, he decides to hold back for a turn. I immediately grab my Omniscience and dig to my Laboratory Maniac and Mirror of Fate. GG?
