Oth, well.... I have a question. How long did you serve? Also, how much jello did yoU have when serving? Also please link me to the forum, if you still have it. I want to see the arguments and complains people have, sometimes u get mad, but sometimes I don't care, or I have a laugh. But, really vamp? Now we need to get it to 12345, and if I don't get there, this thread will go on forever.

Note # 2: just read a certain user's (unnamed) comment about how terrible i and other's are. You could ask literally any person i keep contact with and they'll tell you I'm one of the nicest people they know.
Note# 3: someone basically jacked my mardu deck on here, name and everything. Slight changes were made though

Took 'em long enough.

Yea i've gotta work from 2-10 tonight, and clean up takes another hour. Freaking sucks. And yea, while most customers are decent enough to polite, you don't get through a day without a few asshats who come in looking for a fight.

Well see i live in a rather huge city connected to several other huge cities which means we get a huge amount of customers per day. Despite this fact, we only get about 2 cashiers per shift. This means i get to be interupted sporadically throughout the night to help ring while also attempting to finish my other ten or so tasks. This wouldn't be so bad but the guy who works before me is literally the worst kind of person. He's the kind of guy that not only has a slight mental disability, but uses said disability to
A) pretty much slack off at work as much as possible. Anyone else would have been fired months ago
B) shut down any from of criticism with "you can't say that I'm disabled" when in fact he's a fully functioning adult. He's just lazy.
What does that mean for me? Whatever he decides to not do that day i have to take care of at night on top of everything else

Yea that sounds fucking annoying. But seriously, your manager can't get in trouble for firing him. Partially disabled or not, if they can not or will not perform what they are expected to do, they can legally be fired without repercussions. It isn't discrimination.
And yea, sometimes working nights is fine for me cuz we get like, only 5-10 customers after 7pm and can just sit down for 10-15 minutes in-between. And sometimes it's a constant stream of people, which is horrible.

my fav job ever was being a starbucks barrista in a semi affluent residential area during the mortgage boom in orange county california...all those stay at home moms with too much time and money to spend, and a craving for sugar induced beverages....

My store has moved more towards music from the fifties and sixties. It's nice.
Also, I decided to fight a goat demon in a shoe box today. Killed it first try. Fuck you, Capra Demon, and your little dogs, too.

My grocery store plays stuff like Taylor Swift and Beyonce and whatnot, Tibs. It's awful. But it's always the same five songs over and over again.

lol. im just learning this crap for fun. i do not intend to be in the trenches, i have minions for that, but ya its always fun.
the great part is, i have about 30 people running around in the office right now in headless chicken mode, while i am doing a 4 way EDH match on untap. Going to let them simmer for a bit, before bringing it back up.
sometimes, its a good life unintentionally...

lordoftheshadows It is, but I've been watching Alex Steacey of LoadingReadyRun do it a lot. I did not do the run for the Gravelord Sword like he does, though.
VampireArmy It's Dark Souls. Relatively early in the game you have to fight a boss known as the Capra Demon in an area approximately eight feet by twenty or so. It is eight feet tall, has two metal slabs for weapons, and there are also two zombie dogs attacking you. They begin attacking before you are out of the animation for walking into the room.

It's not that bad if you are introduced by somebody in the community that wants you to be a part of it. I actually suggest looking up some of Alex's runs through it, because he does try to help people that are interested in playing the game. Perhaps the one he plays with Cameron Lauder, because that is one where he is literally helping someone brand new to the game to play it.
Also, because I'm curious, what part of the game made you hate it?
