Third time's a charm.

Languish into Ob Nyx to destroy their next creature or draw a card is gonna be awesome.
Prob gonna be trying Esper as my first deck. Four Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip, 2 Narset Transcendent, and 2 Ob Nyx.
Also finally decided to commit to a Jhoira EDH deck. Tons of awesome Eldrazi coming out to justify it.

So my Bant standard deck is going to LOVE some of the replacements come rotation.
Kiora replaces Ajani Steadfast.
Undergrowth Champion replaces Courser of Kruphix.
Lumbering Falls slots in somewhere.
Stasis Snare goes right into the sideboard.
Now I just need a replacement for Elvish Mystic and the deck will be completely bonkers.

I just played a guy on untap, and he quit because he couldn't understand how Black Vise worked. Like legit, he had no idea how the card dealt damage to him, even after I explained. You'd think that the people who play MTG at least know how to count to 20...

Sorry to hear that VA. On the other hand, unless it held sentimental value, at least it wasn't something more valuable.
On a different note, ban list update is in 3 weeks. Should I liquidate Bloom Titan?

Bloom is falling out of favor due to the abundance of Infect, I'd be more scared that infect would get the axe since in the last SCG event the number of infect that made day 2 was in the triple digits. It also wins on T2.

As someone who loathes infect and doesn't own the deck, I'd be thrilled to see it go. And yea, there hasn't really been any results from titan recently. I just figure it's something they might arbitrarily axe.
Wonder if melira is something I could shove into the board of Amulet Bloom.

You'd be better off adding more unconditional removal. Hard to say what though. Slaughter Pact is the best card in the matchup.
I also want to try Omnath, Locus of Rage in the SB over the Hornet Queen cause playing him precombat and swinging with Primeval Titan does disgusting things.

Speaking of modern and lands does anyone think that a modern lands deck could actually be a thing? Like Molten Vortex, Life from the Loam, and some Delve shenanigans. Maybe Omnath as a late game finisher?

I feel like once you've gotten the titan into play, you just want to focus on getting more tolaria wests and then more titans into play. Thragtusks, Sigarda, Hornet Queen are all just secondary things to do if you don't have a titan. Not that Omnath would be bad, I just think it's overkill.

Well, also consider an omnath with a Summer Bloom....
Idk, I plan on at least testing it because he's pretty bonkers and bloom is the only shell that could remotely have a chance on running him. (too saturated for tron)
So, Lands? I kinda want to make it a thing. Ideas?

There aren't enough utility lands to mirror Legacy Lands. You don't have a "smack them in the face for 20" combo kill, you don't have a "lock down all their mana in their upkeep and wasteland the rest" plan, and there is, of course, no tabernacle.
However, if you wanted to do a list with Molten Vortex, Life, and delve, i'd run Jund Loam Pox. Lili, Smallpox, Life, Vortex. There's a shock spell with Retrace on it, forget what it's called. Also, Raven's Crime. Um, you can use worm harvest or zombie infestation as win cons as well.
My friend plays Loam Pox/Lands hybrid in legacy and Loam Pox in Modern because it has such similar cards, and that's what he uses. Don't have a full list though, sorry.
And yea, Summer Bloom and Omnath could be really cool. It's just too bad he costs 7 instead of 6. Undergrowth Champion could also be interesting, but probably lack luster. I am seriously considering tossing in 2-3 Drowner of Hope into the sideboard for the twin match up. Not much you can really do to get around blood moon, but at least it stops them combo-ing off for a couple of turns. Just sac a spawn in response to them trying to tap.

Blood moon actually is easily answered thanks to the bearded wonder Chris VanMeter. Chromatic Lantern gives exactly zero fucks about Blood Moon :D

He was running one Lantern in the board along with 2 Seal of Primordium.
Dragonlord Dromoka improves the burn matchup AND the splinter twin matchup. How can you dislike that?
Likelink on a big body that burn can't kill that can drop on T2. That pretty much makes Burn fold on the spot, ESPECIALLY if you are able to attack immediately thanks to a Slayers' Stronghold.
Also, he's uncounterable which means that Twin can't stop him and he also acts as Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir , preventing people from countering or interacing ANYTHING else you play on your turn. If you T2 a Dragonlord Dromoka you are free to T3 a Primeval titan without fear of Cryptic Command.
What's to disagree with?

I just preordered a lot of BFZ..... 2 boxes and 2 fatpacks. Meh, I've been in a hospital for like 2 months (funded by the VA so free to me) and I've been collecting VA disability. I have some money burning a hole in my pocket.

Teaching is an option, and if you feel that passionately it could only mean positive things for your pupils.

I hope you find what you are looking for. Career choice is one of the biggest that you can make. If you are motivated by more then money, I hope you find the right balance for you.
