I ordered the rest of my cards for PSI (minus the bayou) and Troll and Toad was awesome enough to upgrade my shipping for free so I can get it by friday for Atomic Empire's (It's a great store, you should check it out) legacy FNM and Eternal weekend.
Also some awesome stranger noticed that I'd left my lights on and turned them off for me so I didn't run my batter down. Sometimes my life is awesome.

lordoftheshadows, you go to Atomic Empire? I'm at Chapel Hill for college, but I haven't been to Atomic Empire. I've been told it's great by another user on here, Gnarlicide (not sure if he wants to be tagged in this thread). We'll have to play sometime, if you live in the area.

NoPantsParade, Yea. It's a great shop. I think there will be draft, legacy and standard (and possibly modern but it might not fire) at FNM this week. If you can I'd highly recommend checking it out. I live in Chapel Hill. What are you studying at UNC? Freshman?

In other news, I just bought a 3ft long Shofar for the holiday next week. I can't wait to make fun the the other guy's puny 9in shofar at shul.

Yeah, lordoftheshadows, I'm a freshman at UNCCH. I was studying pre-pharmacy with a concentration in chemistry, but after some thinking, I'm pretty confident in doing pre-med still with a concentration in chemistry. If I can, I might come over for the Legacy tournament, but I'm missing a Wasteland and Bayou, but hopefully there's modern.

New Drana is definitely better in TL, but she's not a terrible Commander either. Old Drana is probably better since she can one-shot people, but I wouldn't begrudge anyone playing New Drana.

I'm on liquid oxycodone, it makes me irritable, pissing me off is easy.
I have a friend who is so prideful that he REFUSES to ever touch a combo deck even to learn how the combo is done (to be able to fight it better). Same thing with net decking even though he's HORRIBLE at brewing. Drives me nuts.
Another friend who always thinks bad cards are amazing and tht good cards are bad. Also refuses to net deck or play combo because it's "cheap". Annoys the shit out of me.
A third friend who thinks he knows all there is to know about the game but has no idea how to play legacy, commander, tiny leaders, or aggro in standrad/modern. He's a pure control player and looks down his nose at anything that isn't control.

Yeah, it's cause my jaw is wired shut, my jaw is wired shut cause I broke my jaw, I broke my jaw because I fell, and I fell because my heart stopped.

Yawning is the most painful thing right now....
I'm alright though, believe it or not this is my third near death experience. In afghanistan I had a grenade go off 8 feet from me. That's well inside the killzone. Didn't get hit with anything. The luck is real.

Seems to me you are missing some of he heavy hitters like Flesh Carver, Blade Splicer and others.
Femme mentioned Basilisk Collar but Hero's Blade is another tiny leaders Aggro staple.

Whee congrats! I felt the same when I had a severe infection in my cheek (after a wisdom teeth surgery) and they siphoned the pus and infected flesh out. It felt great to open my face.
