Not the most photogenic cake i've ever made. But I can confirm that it tastes awesome. Only took me like an hour and a half to make too.
Didn't make the little mushrooms and stuff cuz I don't like marzipam and that requires corn syrup.

Also, I've been toying a bit with Tasigur, and I'm trying to think of the best countermagic out there that does not involve 2-for-1ing, so no Force of Wills or Misdirections here. Got any good ideas?

One of my cousins glitterbombed his gift and i got glitter all over my pants. I put the box down, and my mom picks up the box and tries to toss it onto a table. The box soars over my head, and now I've got glitter absolutely everywhere. He has declared war.

I have had the best and worst christmas.
I got 24 packs of ramen
4 cardboard boxes with nothing in them
and thats all I actually got.
yknow tcgplayer? well I had all the stuff I wanted in the cart and one day the cart disappeared. I assumed my dad bought it for me.
turns out the cart actually just disappeared. gone. I dont know why either.
so I had to spend a few hours finding everything again and mom ordered it and now I'm very happy.
now here is where it got good: my dad does the secret santa thing on reddit. he tends to be sent mtg stuff a lot b/c he's a gamer, but he doesnt actually play. so he got 2 packs of BfZ. he opened them for fun.
he got a sacred foundry expedition. this is the first expedition in the house. anywho, he gives it to me and I'm happy.
it is now in my cube. in a penny sleeve :|. double sleeved at least, but now I have to buy dragon shields for my cube.... goddamn white elephant bullshit.

oh, and one of my friend and group members donated the 5 main moxen as well as a Sylvan Library and a Shahrazad to the cube in place of the proxies! I'm so happy!
once again, dragon shield will be used now and they will be VERY DOUBLE SLEEVED. dont freak out plz. they're in large plastic things until I get the sleeves.
EDIT: I need to stop forgetting to leave things out. They're international editions, so gold back and squared corners. another reason pennies wont do.

he played a lot during alpha and beta and so forth with the expensive sets and never actually sold his stuff
so most of it sits in well-maintained boxes around his house, but he really loves the cube and hes known me for 2 years so its all good.
from what he's been saying though, hes saving up for an plpha booster box and we're going to draft it, which is insane and I doubt will ever happen, but it'll be cool, especially because I wouldn't even be drafting the lotus if I saw it, i'd just start forcing mono red XD

Well my brother got me a $100 gift card to TCGplayer for Christmas so I was looking on that for some cards for an EDH deck. Was looking at Azusa's, and well, if Amulet Bloom is banned in a few weeks, she'll go back down to $25, and if it's not, she'll go back up from 35 to 45.
The mid price is $35, and well, I just couldn't justify buying her when the deck could potentially get nuked. So I went onto ebay to find a deal.
Ended up finding a mediocre (as in probably didn't take a lot of time and it's pretty basic) boarder extended Azusa for $35 including shipping. Still looks nice, but it's definitely not a fantastic alter. Figured if she dropped to $25 i'd basically bought a $10 alter, and if she stays the same or goes up after not getting banned, it's whatever.
TL;DR - Coulda bought a "free" Azusa, ended up buying one for $35.
If anyone actually cares what I bought with the $100, got a Tooth and Nail, Natural Order, Sylvan Library, Burgeoning, Concordant Crossroads, Oath of Druids, and an Oracle of Mul Daya for the old R/G Omnath EDH deck.

Well, on a similar vein, I drafted my box of Conspiracy I was given for Christmas with friends. I got good stuff, Coercive Portal, Marchesa, the Black Rose, Selvala, Explorer Returned, Edric, Spymaster of Trest, 2 Council's Judgment, 4 Brainstorm, Fact or Fiction, 2 Swords to Plowshares, Deal Broker
, EDH Stars like Realm Seekers and Ignition Team, and 2 Dack Fayden!
So I had a good box, and the draft was amazing. I am most excited for the 3 new EDH decks I can build now.

GoldGhost012, just remember sticky notes because some conspiracies require writing down information that was our one downfall. Also Worldknit will require more sleeves than 40 to draft. Otherwise, Have fun! The experience was awesome for me and my friends.

I bought my first revised dual today. YAY! My wallet doesn't like me for it but who cares. It's just a badlands but that means I only need four more cards for legacy storm.
I'm so close to having TES/ANT built for legacy but I still need the expensive duals. Maybe epoch will sell me them. I could spend $10 for the bayou and $20 for the blue duals, maybe :)
