I've had similar situations where I've been outtokened by other decks. I become the incarnation of the dead sea during those duels xD And I was wondering what other decks would try to fit in foundry. There's a lantern control player at my LGS that likes it a lot; he says it helps tremendously against the burn matchup.

This is what I have for a mainboard so far, he deck is definitely going through some growing pains. I have too many cards I want to shove in but I don't have room.

Interesting changes. I'm afraid my knowledge of U Tron doesn't extend much beyond playing against it, so I can't really offer any constructive criticism haha. How is the burn matchup with only 2 wurmcoils?

Also, cards will be added. I nearly got some $30 hours in my shift today. Time-and-a-half + overtime would give me 2.5x my wage. Manager didn't like that thought.

Damn, it's like trying to make a brick wall see reason. And for the record, I've even questioned Craig Wescoe once or twice on his opinion of tokens before; I don't blindly follow pros just because they are pros. Their views as pros demand attention, but I wouldn't just "be brown nosing it like no other" like he seems to think. And I even addressed why his sideboard was wonky since he has relatively few colored sources to reliably get out double white mana in my analysis of his deck. But I doubt he read that very well to be honest, which is a shame, since I spent a solid hour typing that thing out. Appreciate the kind words by the way, and you are right I can be a little pushy with tokens admittedly.

I look at it like this: If I can make both people in a discussion come to the middle ground then they can have an actual discussion rather than shouting from their castle walls like heat miser and cold miser (showing some age with that reference).
Once people start having discussions then they can find what works.
At a young age it was instilled in me that for everything there are two sides, two viewpoints, and between the two is the truth. I try to stick to the truth.
(Oddly enough this bleeds over to my deck building. I like playing all archetypes)

An admirable way of looking at the world. My mother tried to instill a similar ideal in me - that there are always more than one side to a story, but I fear I may not follow that as closely as I should in my life.

How is he getting these numbers without having the results digitized? I sure hope he or his team don't whip out a calculator and punch in numbers. Plus, if all of these matches were as painstakingly recorded as he say, I'd imagine that most people in this age would type them from the start.
So, either the results are already typed out and he isn't sharing them for whatever reason, or all of the numbers are made up, and perhaps all of the testing he claims to have done didn't actually happen.
I'm inclined to believe the latter, and that he has dug himself a hole so deep in this shitshow that it's impossible to come out. It also seems that he is too stubborn to ever do that anyways.

Has anyone ever cubed a set before? I want to cube eternal masters, but I've never made a cube before and don't know if I should keep it small at 360, or do like 450/540 for some variance.

I really just dont want to get boned by like 24 Goblin Charbelchers. I just want cards for edh or legacy. although those foils would not be a bad thing. on a side note, can you believe Daze is an uncommon and Counterspell is a common? this might be my chance to get some effective control for legacy...

Moving out of my parents house in a week or 2. Housing market in the UK is pretty terrible at the moment. No one my age can afford to buy anymore; we're all renting. I got a nice 2 bedroom place in the center of a city for $2100 a month. Don't know how that compares to the US but over here that's like amaaaaazing. I have friends who are paying $5000 a month.

Okay, so I finally figured out how to properly colourize these blasted off-colour hi-res images. I need to set colour balance of black to 100% and then put saturation up to 25%.

And now I have to do the font fixes. I don't know why these have messed up quality but they do.

Uh chief, Stay with your family. Don't pay that much a month. I pay $450 a month. In Vancouver. What you are paying is effectively the amount for a monthly mortgage payment.

@ChiefBell - My family rented a 3/1 in decent location 10 minutes away from downtown in Miami for $2100. We moved an hour and a half North a few days ago. Cut our rent by 1K per month. It's unreal how poor the quality of housing is in Miami too. The building code at least in South Florida is trash tier compared to the houses in Finland I used to live in as a kid.

Chief that is an amazing price if you are in a big city. I have friends who are living in San Francisco who pay $2800 a month to live in a basement with two bedrooms and no kitchen.

I'm gonna say it. Eternal Madters is going to do 0 things to make legacy available and the only people who will trully benefit from it are collectors/resellers and the few competitive commander players.

It wouldn't have done much either way since they can't reprint dual lands. Though it is sweet for all the commander cards which is a pretty big portion of players now.

ThisIsBullshit, this is the first paper printing where Winter Orb was changed back to be a continuous artifact (like it was originally) where it doesn't work when tapped. The online one, which is link when we call the card, has had that ruling for a while.

He was.... A bit salty.
Near the end of things he had 5 dudes (not over extending cause his hand was full and he needed to try and close the game ASAP cause I had just resolved the foundry) and a Sorin for lifegain. I made 5 dudes and blew him out with trades and then I just made 9 thopters/turn for the rest of the game till I overran him.
Game 2 was similar but I just would chump his 2/2 vig tokens with my thopters and then just slavered him out.
Tokens is actually a terrible matchup for UTron, foundry was a great addition.
