I have plans to go back to my old DnD group, so that is exciting. Aside from that,just got some tokens commissioned for my EDH deck, so we'll see how those turn out.

My holiday plan is Unstable draft with my friends after I get a box for Christmas. I drafted for 12 hours straight at my LGS this past weekend and it's super fun!

@ABadMagicPlayer100 did you experience the Skull Saucer + Handy Dandy Clone Machine combo? It's crazy good, I won my last game stuck to the table, and it was glorious.

No, but I had an opponent playing an As Luck Would Have It dice rolling ramp deck, where he cast Summon the Pack for a pack of Unglued to get a bunch of dice rolling chickens and Urza's Science Fair Project. He won that game...

@elpokitolama I've been doing good on all front aside from the mtg one. Its my junior year, i've been stupid busy, got myself into a relationship, and have been really throwing myself at WoW lately, leaving no real time to go and play EDH like I usually would each week. Its probably been 2 to 3 months without real mtg, but I've been going out a lot more due to working a bunch of plays and hanging out with the drama kids.
How's the site been in my absence? The community seems to have died down a tad...

@Nef yeah, it going down is a bit of a shame, but at least it means that people are out living their lives instead of posting here. If they have better things to do than to keep this place alive with their presence, I say that's great.

The site has been thriving, just this thread has less participation than we are used to. Discord has been going strong as well, its been growing every day.
But for the most part yeah, this thread nearly died.

To be honest, we old regulars gave our place to new ones... I think some of us (including me) use the site several times a week, but barely post on the forum anymore. Just like Nef said, the Discord took JC's place as the banter bar of T/O :p

In other news, I've been really busy at work. We're currently being audited by Medicaid and people are dropping out for winter break, so there are fewer people working and more work to be done.
It's left me with less time to alter, but I finally got some time last night. I got as far as what's in the spoiler below. That's about half an hour of work. Basic matte spray down, maybe 5 min to let it dry, throw down a base coat of gray to even out the borders (acrylics are very transparent sometimes), and then just color match the BG.
It's a request from a good friend who really loves Elvish Mystic. My instructions were to leave the text boxes alone and amp up the green. The original art is mostly browns and muted greens, so I'm thinking of making the wooshy wooshy green magicky stuff a bit lighter in tone and more noticeable.

I am now in second year of engineering at the French National Civil Aeronautics University (which is equivalent to a fourth year in the "normal" systems)...
After having to grind through prepa (which was a hell lot of work, back when I started using T/O), I continued playing MTG and will probably attend to my very first GP in february! I am really not as active here as I used to be, I only do it to work on my decks (not trying to write nice and enjoyable descriptions like I did before) and to keep in touch withyou guys :)

I've just been lurking for a long while. I don't really ever have anything to say. Still been playing Magic a lot, but I've also picked up Warhammer 40k and let me tell you, Magic is not nearly as expensive. At least with this, you can generally get some money back when you break down a deck. I got a fat tax return earlier this year and ended up spending $1000 of it in one day on an army that I don't even own most of anymore. Ah, that was a good day, though. Lots of building.

That still seems like the opposite of a problem. Dogs are the best people. I remember when I was in high school my neighbor actually paid me to sit his two dogs during a weekend AND i got to play the newest Call of Duty at the time. No one bothered me AND they left food in the house for me. Best weekend ever.

I've been going to college for this last term and for winter, but after I get home I will be able to work at my local LGS, so I'm really excited for that. No one at my college really plays MTG, so I haven't done much.

So I recently go fallout 4 used, and it stopped installation at 51% twice. Now I got to exchange it for another game. Might just get an eshop card instead.
