So happy I bought two playsets of Eidolon of the Great Revel when they were $5ea. In the last two weeks they've spiked to $9 and I doubt they are going down anytime soon. Tier 1 Modern Burn ftw.

To explain my absence and other things. Basically I've been riding the depression train for the past few weeks and haven't cared about much. Which expains my last random ramble post about a month ago... sigh yeah things are weird right now.
Enough about that... because my second reason is actually Magic related. Basically, I'm on semi hiatus from the game because Modern has completely made me uninterested and nothing has really exited me. Not even the latest Modern Masters, because the last one has made me incredibly jaded regarding the product especially since I don't draft.

As for Modern I agree, Play Twin but don't play Twin, If that makes sense, Cut the amount of combo elements down and play a BlueMoon hybrid.

Just set up a pucatrade account. This is... fantastic, honestly. Come monday, i'll be sending out almost $100 worth of cards i've been trying to trade / that have been sitting stagnant in my binder. Gonna try and get some snapcasters from that.

Defpotec no offence, I'm merely dry witted and sarcastic... my only weakness.
Anyway, to keep a long rant short (too many people hear have heard it) I'm displeased that Modern currently lacks a legitimate control deck. The January banning did upset me, but not because of Pod. Pod I could come to terms with, what I still cannot understand is Dig Through Time. To me, it is something that has been banned without proper research, knowledge and justification. Perhaps this is a hasty judgement, but in my experience, players often hate on 
more than any other colour.
I don't want to start a debate with the whole thread, I am merely explaining things for the sake of context and so that I am not associated with the awfulness of Green.

I had a foil Treasure Cruise that I managed to dump off a week before it was banned. Felt soo good when I saw the banlist and knew I'd made the right decision.

We should not discuss modern here but I wonder why you don't count twin as a control deck. It IS a control deck that wins with a combo - that's all. Most control derps around and wins slowly with some nigh unkillable beast. Twin does the exact same process up until t5-T7 then wins instantly. The two are not world's apart. Maybe you could comment on my wall to avoid derailing chatting.
On topic - it's d&d day! I love d&d day.

I've been trying to get my friends into d&d. They've said they're interested and bring it up from time to time, but never actually want to play when the time rolls around. We also don't have a dm. :3 I want d&d day.

I've bought the dm's guide, player guide, and basic monster manual, and a couple of us have played a few times... We're more social roleplayers than combat based campaigners at this point.

I can't see it, but a lot of the fonts don't work on my phone. I went on the computer for once the other day and almost hyperventilated because everybody's name looked different except Epoch's and all the not-ungraded people.

I used some wizardry to get mine to display everywhere. Normally, if your username is set to display in a font not installed on someone's device, that person won't be able to whatever font you've chosen. Your username will display in a default font instead.
