Ignoring what is going on in the real world, especially the politics, when there are such world changing events going on is an absolutely terrible idea. I personally can not understand the mindset of wanting to ignore what is going on in the world. Nobody likes what's going on but being irresponsible by sticking your head in the sand like an ostrich is not an acceptable option.

Interestingly enough ChiefBell, those in eastern canada have about just as many guns in the average household than in the states, and you certainly don't see news outlets of people shooting each other in the states.
The main difference between the two, is that Eastern Canada isn't pumped full of fear from the media as the states are. And you can readily see this by just how often the average person keeps their doors unlocked (you can test this by going up to random houses and trying to open their doors). And sure, you have to get a gun permit, but that doesn't take too long. Just a few hours and you are done, sometimes not even that.

Not going to start an argument. And I can understand why people don't want any part of this, so i'm going to drop it. I still think people should make a bigger effort to keep informed about what is going on and why.

Femme_Fatale - I just don't see them serving a purpose. Given that you're statistically more likely to be injured in an altercation if you have a gun on your person than if you don't, not even the personal defence argument stands.

Oh, I'm definitely informed. Watched the press conference. But it's a very complicated argument that I really don't want to get into here. T/O is where I come to relax and not think about difficult subjects.

I like to shoot guns recreationally. It's pretty therapeutic to me.

Easter Canada begs to differ. Windsor was particularly interesting in that interviews with police could only recall that the last murder was done by someone from across the lake in Detroit.

I'm with Fame on this one. I come on T/O whenever I feel like playing Magic and messing around on the forums. I don't come on T/O to talk about politics.
Okay FAMOUSWATERMELON let me explain this.
So I've been pretty sick for over a month now, constantly throwing up and stuff. After a bajillion doctors and 2 MRIs, I found out that I had some brain malformation called a Chiari malformation. It's something about my brain being too big for my head or something. idk look it up. And apparently I've had it my whole life too. And now they're finally operating on it, which makes me happy. yay!
Everyone should listen to this on repeat whenever they have work to do. It's almost as good as Guile's Theme, except kinda different.
Who's Vern Troyer? He looks like some sorta deity.

It's generally considered exploitative, and people started to hide them in pictures and other bits of text so that users were being tricked into +1'ing.
Also lots of people have a problem with customised profiles also.

It's because other users have time and time again proven that they should not be circulated. Just being there means that those who can figure out the code can misuse it.
As for me, I look at it as the equivalent of posting your deck everywhere begging for upvotes. Because that's what it is, you are begging. Earn your votes through creativity and uniqueness, not begging.

Essentially, we can't trust people to not hide +1 buttons in like everything, so we decided to not encourage people to spread the coding.

I'm not a huge fan of "overdone" profiles. Some look good and ascetically pleasing to the eye, but most are just kind of flashy and annoying to look at.

If it is a button you post on everything sure, that is spamming. If it is just on your deck description, and not misleading, then it seems there is nothing wrong with it.
lol Sagarys. I have wanted to put them on some of my decks, but don't know how to do that. Mostly want to put one on Zeus Farts I love that deck, and it is the one I mainly want upvotes for.
People just don't upvote Femme, they are too stingy. I will get a comment on an EDH deck or something with a worthless suggestion of one card, and maybe a nice deck, but no upvote. The button would make them do that.
Maybe all decks can have the upvote button hard wired to sit right after the description instead of on the side there.

Which is why we need the trust system. Respected and trustworthy users can use advanced code, and the others can use the basic spoilers and stuff, but not anything else. It would also solve the upgraded VS non-upgraded trench.

I agree ChiefBell and all of mine had very polite requests to +1 only if they liked it. But the hate isn't worth it. So I'm pulling them.

I have seen some that are a little gaudy, but that is fine, it is their pages. I just wanted to pretty much move the upvote button that is already there to the deck description.

I personally find them to be a little obnoxious, but other than that I don't think there's nothing wrong per say with them. Unless you pull a Behgz and have literally everything on your page be a secret upvote button.

Does anyone know if The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is going to be multiplayer? If it is, i'd rather get it for the ps4, if no, the pc for the better graphics.
