mmmm curry. One of my roommates left over this spiced chicken when he left, so I decided to defrost one of the breasts to use as a curry. It was a while before I had made it so I was kinda worried that I'd mess it up. I ended up putting a quarter cup of soya sauce and 1 3/4 water for the rice, and was worried that that was way too much considering how salty it was. It ended up being very good after I dumped in the curry sauce and the salsa.

No. I don't play Modern, and I stopped playing Standard back when Innistrad came out.
Actually, I don't even play Magic anymore. I'm pretty much just a theorist at this point.

Haha no problem. It's just that I managed to get a side job tutoring a kid so I've got a bit more to spend and that I decided to invest. Been thinking about it for a while but I'm not sure how much farther I'm gonna go with it. Might go into blue duals soon.

I wish he would have honestly. Would have been interesting but he was playing mono black tiny leaders and tiny leaders has the same color restriction rules as commander.

Just played my first game of EDH with a deck of my own!! There were three players: one with Gahiji, Honored One, one with Sliver Hivelord, and me. Guy who was playing slivers had to leave right as we were getting started, which left me against another guy. I plopped down Magus of the Moon very quickly, effectively destroying his mana base, meaning he only had Mountains and one Plains. He got out Brimaz, King of Oreskos and Mirror Entity but then I popped down Chandra Ablaze and roasted both of them. He scooped when I top-decked Mind's Eye. I love my deck :)

Hey everyone, I need some advice...
My recently-ex-girlfriend invited me to her birthday party this weekend, and I don't know if I should go. In addition to the potential awkwardness following the breakup, I also am pretty broke because, you know, Magic, and I don't have cash for a gift. She said I didn't have to get anything, but I'd feel bad being the only one showing up without a present. We've still been talking (because she's pretty cool about the whole thing), but still, I'm not sure... (She broke up with me if it makes any difference)
Any advice?

I wouldn't go, I don't think it'd be worth the trouble, and being the only one without a gift would be kinda awkward. Also, who knows how everybody else would react.

How everybody else would think to. The ex that came to a birthday party without a present. Or even, the ex that came to a birthday party with one. There is most likely going to be a fair few people you don't know, and who knows what she's going to do herself, or said about you to everybody since you two broke up.

ABadMagicPlayer100 I personally wouldn't go. Mostly because it has the potential to lead to a series of unfortunate events. I always believe that people need time and space after a break up. Going to her birthday may be much more aggravating or hurtful to either you or her than either of you initially realize.

My advice is to go with a present, say hi, drop it off with a smile and say you can't stay, that you just wanted to wish her a happy birthday. Be polite, but do not stick around. Don't go slinking off though, I dunno if your ex is the type of person to talk about you behind your back, but if other people are gonna see you, you wanna be acting and looking your best so they go "oh he's really cool, guess it just didn't work out".

Don't go to an ex's party. Clean break, no contact is the best method. She might be all up on some other dude, and might not want to be around that. Countless things could happen. Don't waste your time or money.
I really want to like jund. I want to build Adun Oakenshield so bad. EDH though. Still, I have nothing for a jund deck, so it is going to take some time.
