Hey Femme, is that Sylvan Caryatid alter an actual legal playable card, or just some art you found online? I love the digital art people do for these cards but I can't figure out how you would put it on a card and make it legal playable.

Some people make proxies, and keep the cards in one of those small binders. They then play the proxies in the deck. Not sure how the judges feel about it, but I have seen it.

I love that Sylvan Caryatid Femme_Fatale posted. And DERPLINGSUPREME, I've seen all of those, I just want one. Specifically either the second or third. Mostly the third. And maybe a little less on the rules boxes. I'm picky, I guess. But thanks!

kyuuri117, the alter must not obstruct the name, mana cost, rules text nor card types. They even say rarity symbol, but I honestly don't think a judge will hit you on that. They also can't be too sexualized, they will err heavily on PG-13. If you go look online there are processes in which you can add digital alters to your cards.

Just when you think the mission is over there will always be the one alien you lost track of. You will then try and hunt it down. It will flank you and possibly kill someone.
Aliens will land or send UFO's at the worst times.
Fuck Floaters.
If you think you have enough explosives, you're doing it wrong.
Always create a back story for someone of your better troops. It makes shooting aliens more fun.
Fuck Seekers.
If you're not in full cover and an Outsider shoots, pray to the Dark Gods no one gets hit.

You know what? I just thought of something. Why do Rakdos (Kolaghan Brood) dragons breathe lightning? I always though of lightning to be an Izzet thing as supported by literal Izzet cards. Wouldn't it make more sense for a Kolaghan dragon to breathe like black fire or something? Seems odd to me.

Yea but... fire and water create steam, not lightning. Steam Vents etc. So maybe previous Izzet cards have just been wrong.

I'm sorry for you, but here in Iowa, we're dealing with unseasonably cold weather. It's almost June and I still have a heavy jacket on. High of 52 F tomorrow - 11 C. Low down to 39 F (4 C) expected Wed. night. It's hard to be excited about Summer Reading Program when I'm still wearing corduroy.
Maybe we could trade? ;)

I stop going outside once it hits 75°+.
It wouldn't even be so bad, but this state is horrifyingly humid all summer. Like, the only places worse than this are Virginia, North Carolina, and Louisiana.

I keep wanting to get out my summer clothes, but it's just been too cold & rainy. Going to rain again tonight/tomorrow, too. Tomorrow's record low here is 37, and it looks like we'll be getting close.

Epochalyptik, yup. Here in NC today, I was sitting in my car sweating the entire time. It was 87 out at 46% humidity. I would take moving back to Ohio during this time any day from May to August.

Heat sucks a lot. Being Russian/Ukranian, I can't survive in weather above 75F. I stay inside and have the air conditioner on full blast. It sucks even more that I've got a fever so I've been sweating all day and being near the AC only makes things worse.

I'll take the heat any day of the week. I can hop in the pool with a margarita and an umbrella when it's 120. But when it gets cold, like actually cold - not Arizona cold, I can barely move. Like a lizard.

Weeeeell i kinda did some travel in between so i got a little lucky. I spent some time (bout 2 years) in the Midwest first. Though i must admit culture drastically changes from coast to Midwest but from my experience the coasts are just populated by hipsters haha

It just snowed two weeks ago here in Ohio. Of course the day after it was in the high 60's and not a cloud in the sky. Ohio has some pretty whacked up weather.

You have a ton of alters. Do you do them with the transparency method? I don't have a printer or anything, but I know a couple guys who do it. They look pretty nice. I just don't like playing against a full proxy deck that someone does not own any of the cards in lol.
I would love to have some painted alters, but those take so much work. I would love a Merieke Ri Berit alter, and a proxy would be ok too. I just can not find any that I really like to be able to save up money to get it altered.
