howdy! I'm moving to Atlanta area from Los Angeles California in about 4 weeks. I wanted to see if there was anyone in the tappedout community who is familiar with the magic scene In that area. Any of you in Atlanta? Know any good game stores? Help me out! Lol thanks :)
P.s; I play modern
I'll be traveling a lot while I'm there for work and for fun. I'm sure I'll make my way down there! What are the stores like? The community? Lots of people? Few people? I have no insight lol. What formats are popular, or do you play?

There's only one gaming/comic shop in town, and I don't go there for reasons that involve the manager not exactly being the most ethical of persons. If you do decide to go there, the people who go there are really cool. They play everything from Standard to Modern to EDH.

I live(d) (in college now) in the area. Look up a shop called Wasteland gaming; the modern community is fantastic there. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are all Modern nights, with Friday being free.

Athens, GA. Has an awesome place for Standard FNM and Snellville as well. The shop in Snellville is well organized and has a free Standard format on Sat. Atlanta has a big Metro area. Where are ya moving to? North, South, East , or West ATL?

Sad. I just moved from Atlanta a few years ago. I'm down in Macon now, which is about an hour and a half from Atlanta, if you ever find yourself down that way.
