Merry Christmas to everyone on this wonderful site! If you don't celebrate the holiday, then happy holidays! If you don't like the holidays, well, then I give up. I hope everyone has a great time today, and remember: it isn't about the presents, it's about the time you spend with those who are special to you. Unless you got a playset of Tarmogoyf. Then it's about the presents.

Merry Christmas everyone! There's lots of snow where I am. I got myself 2 Snapcaster Mage for Christmas so for me it is about the presents. :) The rest of my family is a muggle, so I'm guessing that's the only mtg-related stuff I'll get, but that's ok. It doesn't get much better than 2 Snaps.

My Christmas is pretty anemic. At this point, I'd take the melon bread, Santa.

CanadianShinobi If it makes you feel better, here in Georgia it's 75 degrees, humid, and storming -_-
ToolmasterOfBrainerd What's better than two? Could it be, maybe, just maybe, 3 SNAPCASTER MAGES??

Happy Christmas. If not, then Happy Friday.
I'm also in the boat of 'I just walked outside with a Tshirt and jeans on and was fine', but hey, winter will get here eventually. I'm taking the warm weather as I can get it.
As for gifts, I'm thinking about getting myself started on my Legacy 12Post deck. I've already bought a new phone though, so the conflict is real.

It's 82 degrees here atm, although that doesn't say much considering I live in Miami.

See, right now I'm torn between preordering XCOM 2, or building myself a new Modern or Commander deck.
Also, as someone who is inclined to cold and snow, I am not happy about not having either right now. This is Canada, dammit!

66 here in Texas. Supposed to storm like crazy. Haha.

DMR My wallet wouldn't allow it. But if anyone wants to send me another Snapcaster Mage as a late Christmas present, trust me, I won't care that I'm not receiving it on Christmas XD
Oh yeah, it's also 12 degrees Fahrenheit outside where I am.

As a Canadian I find your measurement system archaic and outdated. I think America should give the world the present of abandoning the Imperial system this Christmas.

I'm actually European. I just live in the States. I feel your pain.

My mtg Christmas consisted of a BFZ pack from my mother in law with Felidar Sovereign. Whomp. But I did get fallout 4 from my sister in law so that's a solid win.
Also, it's 60 degrees Fahrenheit here in Springfield, Mo. The heat wave is everywhere. I don't remember wearing shorts on Christmas ever. Or it being nice enough to go for a hike for that matter.

The whole world just needs to change from counting in base 10 to counting in base 12. would make everyday math much easier, and bonus, inches make sense! as for warm, here in northeast ohio, part of the snow belt, its about 50 degrees Fahrenheit ;)

Epochalyptik Really? From scratch? If so, that's quite impressive. How much would a fully constructed one run you for?
mathimus55 Glad to hear about Fallout 4, enjoy the countless hours you're about to sink into it!
DevoidMage Good luck with 12 post, especially with regards to Candelabra of Tawnos. Ouch. But you did pick the perfect deck to slaughter a field with miracles running rampant.
And to everyone in general, it's way too hot for this. Sad to hear that even Canada is warm at this time of year. And I apologize from the bottom of my heart for our measurement system, but this is 'Murica!

I prefer base 16 but that's just cause I'm partial to hexadecimal.

You can buy prebuilts for $600-1200 for an average model or $1500+ for a great one.
Mine costs about $1900 (counting the gun and ten magazines) so far. Building it from the ground up.
- Aero Precision enhanced receiver and free-float handguard
- 16" BCM fluted LW barrel
- BCM gunfighter ambi charging handle
- BCM HPT+MPI+shot peened auto bolt carrier group
- Geiselle enhanced trigger
- Smith vortex flash suppressor (thing brings muzzle flash down to sub-0.4 Lux; it's barely visible even at night)
- JP captured-spring buffer
- Magpul CTR stock
- Magpul MIAD grip
- MBUS
- 10x Magpul Gen2 P-Mags
I just have to put it all together.
After that, I need an Aimpoint and a flashlight. That's probably another $800, but I'll get them over time.
All the Magpul furniture is in foliage green. It's gonna look great.

In Canada here too. The lack of snow is definitely very sad I was skiing this time last year. :(

I could probably sell my collection and pay for the entire build plus all the ammo I would ever want to shoot. And maybe another gun.
I should do that.

But you have ABUR's and a couple of kick-butt commander decks. You can't turn your back on them, despite that they've only collected dust in the last few years....
December 25, 2015 3:39 p.m.
I think someone seriously hacked Santa's naughty/nice list this year, but I am not complaining!
Under the tree today: A bunch of KMC Hyper MAT sleeves; a playmat with art from Winterflame; and to top it all off, some Temur Unhinged full-arts -- Island, Mountain, and Forest!

Merry Christmas!
Peace, gifts and warm apple pie to everyone :))
Keep your deck in your holster and your gun in your box, or vica versa... You got a whole year ahead to anger people ;-)
December 25, 2015 6:17 p.m.
Got me a Cabal Coffers, Crucible of Worlds, Verdant Catacombs, Boseiju, Who Shelters All, 2 C15 decks, and a holiday box. Also a PS4 with Black Ops and Fallout 4. My EDH game is about be next levelllll. Thanks, parents and grandparents ;)

Warning for everyone who got fallout 4: DONT START THE GAME BECAUSE YOU WONT STOP....
Weather conversation: it was like 60 when it should be 25-40, I actually wore shorts and a short sleeve shirt for christmas (which sounds weird to me)

Merry Christmas! Sadly, where I am right now there is no snow. It's pretty egregious.
