Hi! I was wondering what would be the most fun set to draft with some friends. Thoughts?

I would say a cube if you have one, but powerful sets like masters or Zendikar are massively fun if you need a specific set. If budget is an issue, then honestly Aether Revolt would still be a great one to draft if you're not tired of it yet.

If you're going for pure fun value, the Conspiracy sets are amazingly good. They were made for the specific intention to draft with them, and there are some great cards that really show that like Animus of Predation. When I played that draft, he had Flying, First Strike, Deathtouch, and Lifelink.

But, if you're wanting to draft AND get cards to play in Standard, I have personally had the most fun out of Aether Revolt and Kaladesh. You have a chance to pull an Invention Masterpiece, and the commons/ uncommons in that set are bonkers good.

In my opinion Conspiracy: Take the Crown, is the best to draft when caring about price/fun. The Master sets are probably stronger, but also much more expensive. The good thing with the conspiracy sets is that it contains stuff that's also wanted in other formats (mostly EDH, but also some legacy staples).

If you play standard and draft, I'd go for Aether Revolt or Kaladesh.

If you want to keep having fun and make a cube I'd suggest getting a booster box of Conspiracy: Take the Crown and turn it into a cube (that's my own plan actually, and you win the lottery if you have Leovold, Emissary of Trest in foil)

A pack of modern masters 1, mm2 and mm3 which hasn't been released yet. Or win the lottery and buy a box of eternal masters, play sealed and crack the leftover packs.

I personally dig the conspiracy sets. C2 (take the crown) in particular, as it enables more engaging matches imo.
Note that the set is made specially for drafting and playing multiplayer rounds, so we (as casual and EDH players) really enjoy it.
If you prefer 1v1 matches, I'd choose Return to ravnica as a favorite, but aether revolt/kaladesh combi was fun as well.
