I give one of my packs to a friend to open, and he pulls a foil Ugin. The luck is real.

I pulled a Sword of Light and Shadow
on top of a Cryptic Command out of a modern masters pack. That was preeeetty sweet.

I have great luck pulling great cards from prize packs, but terrible luck buying boxes or just general packs.

Opened a pack of Theros before and pulled a Elspeth, Sun's Champion and a foil Polukranos, World Eater ever since that day I have pulled nothing but crap just about.

I've done pretty well with prize packs. I got a playset of Thoughtseize without spending a dime.

i think the best thing i've ever pulled was an Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite. but its also been a long long time since i've bought packs

Pulled solid value from my FRF prize packs from FNM. My best sealed pull was from one of those Starter Decks from Dragon's Maze. The two packs were Ral Zarek, Voice of Resurgence, and an inserted Temple Garden. Mildly pleasing.

I haven't bought packs in a long time (save drafts). The best one that I can remember would be the mma pack with Vendilion Clique + Knight of the Reliquary. The story of how I got that pack is one of my favorites from mtg. I ended up making the v-clique edh deck.

Best two pulls I ever had,
Situation One : Getting 5 packs of m14, and getting all 5 planeswalkers.
Situation Two : Getting down to the last two pack of my 6 pack winnings from FNM for BNG. Called Kiora as the 5th pack, got Kiora. Called Brimaz as the 6th pack, got Brimaz.

At the Fate Reforged prerelease, the guy handing out the Ugin's Fate packs really really wanted his own alternate art Ugin, so he looks at me as I'm opening the pack and says, "Look, I really need the Ugin that's in there." And of course I open one.
The bad part? I sold it for $125, and now it's at $200. Didn't expect the price to RISE! Ah well.
Also, at my last FNM I won a single prize pack as consolation (13th place) and pulled a normal Ugin, the Spirit Dragon.
I've also opened about 6 or 7 fetches from Khans packs and haven't spent that much money on them at all.

My best pack luck was my first ever magic set - An M11 deck builders toolkit:
Haunting Echoes F, Mox Opal, Serra Ascendant and Thrun, the Last Troll.
My khans of Tarkir prerelease pool gave me Windswept Heath and Dig Through Time so I guess thats ok as well
Overall I cannot get anything from packs at all.

30 minutes ago I got a Theros and a Fate Reforged pack from a friend for ValDay and called a mythic on the theros pack, got a Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver and a Thassa, God of the Sea.

I got a conspiracy pack. I pulled Reflecting PoolF and a Mirari's Wake.
Then, I lost the cards and didn't get over it for like, 2 weeks.

One day i pulled a Monastery Swiftspear, a Windswept Heath and a foil Wooded Foothills in the same pack. But i was in a draft and only took the foil fetch...
