Anyone else dreading traffic for prerelease events this weekend? The Pope's in town and there's going to be like a million extra people running around than normal. Like actually a million; not hyberbole.

I dunno; it's been a strange week and it's just getting weirder, and this weekend is going to be the strangest.

Your mission is: Get the Pope to attend prerelease!

But yeah, in that case, consider going somewhere where there is no Pope for prerelease (the Vatican is a sure bet).

Unless the Pope is coming to Brooklyn...I should be fine. :)

Philly represent! But yeah, it also kind of sucks... there's not much you can do but avoid major roads.

I'm going to get screwed by Pope-fuckers on my way back to BK today. Anyone want to give me and some audio gear a ride?

Interstate 76 is backed up from west of pittsburgh all the way to philly. Which is about a 5 hour drive when going 70 mph and not stopping.

That's pretty crazy.

Yeah, for clarity's sake: I don't actually live in Phily, I live just outside it. The events I'm going to are actually about a half hour from town. I'm still worried about traffic, because even up here we have Pope craziness going on. They're selling pope plushies in some stores! I half expected to see some of those collectible figurines at the LGSes next to Chandra and crew.

I thought you were joking, but then again, I googled it to be sure:

Pope Bobblehead

His holy plushiness

Pope Francis - His Holy Plushness.
