ChiefBell and I are trying to get a league going for T/O users. this post is mostly to get the information out there.
We currently have a Facebook group that we are going to use for posting information, including pairings, a list of everyone's names/usernames across the multiple sites, etc. If you haven't already, head over to FB and join our group!
we will be taking signups over the next month or so, and matches will begin after signups close. you and your opponent will organize the matches yourself (in other words, you will decide on which site to use, time, etc.).
the league will be free! no charges. however, the Chief and I have discussed potentially moving on to provided prizes to top 4 or top 8 depending on how many people we have/whether or not you guys would be alright with throwing a bit of prize support in.
Format: We aren't dead set on a format yet. as of right now we are deciding between standard, modern, or just letting users choose between the 2 for their matches. some feedback from the community on this would be great!
I think I have covered everything, but if there is something you would like to know that I didn't cover, feel free to ask me or ChiefBell.

Honestly I'm having trouble deciding whether I want to play my actual Affinity list or if I want to play my Myth Realized Affinity list, haha.

ThisIsBullshit abzan is linear? Abzans so weird it can't figure out if it wants to be a control deck or a stompy deck. That's what I love about it - no 2 games are the same.

I got just under half the deck lists in. Oh, and don't change your deck slugs people, it'll cause problems for me and I'll be hunting you down if you do.

Thanks femme. Don't stress too much about it though. I posted a last call thread in social, could you guys check on that to answer any questions or sign people up?

Okay... question. I was planning to run a mono-red aggro deck, with several of the same creatures as burn, and naturally include Bolt and another variant. Would that be too close to burn in being not interactive?

Well, how casual is the "torunament"? I mean, I don't really want to show up with a mill deck, if everyone is playing Twin, Burn, affinity and so on....

Play whatever you want. Our intention isn't to bully people out of playing their tier 1 or tier 1.5 decks if they wish. Just because we're choosing silly t2 things doesn't mean you have to as well.

I think I am going to play a fun u/w control brew. I don't know. or maybe ill play blue moon, but splash white for revelation. time to get to testing some more!
