I just want to point out the super juicy interaction between the new Omnath and Titania, Protector of Argoth.
He will be a new commander for me for sure...

I like the new art on the new Omnath, but he's too slow for eternal formats or modern (which is what I play). However, I could see using him in a R/G ramp deck like what's in standard right now, or, if not that, in commander.
By the way, are these the only spoilers for today or are there potentially more in store? Will there be others this weekend?

standard deck idea:
step 1: ramp lands
step 2: cast omnath, locust of rage
step 3: cast Suspension Field on omnath
step 4: cast The Great Aurora
result: omnath falls back onto the field and is present for all the landfall triggers coming off the aurora.

Interesting idea if you could pull it off. However, I think Animist's Awakening, Nissa, Vastwood Seer Flip, or Nissa's Pilgrimage would be more consistent and net you a similar amount of lands (minus the board wipe). Sword of the Animist could also become more relevant.
The biggest question for me about whether Omnath will impact standard or not is will a quick enough ramp be possible. Once M15 rotates out, Elvish Mystic goes away which will really slow down green decks. Plus with Wizards hating on 1 CMC mana dorks now it will be unlikely that we see a replacement. Here is to hoping we get something to help cheat out high CMC creatures like Omnath before all the speedy decks overrun us!!

There is a period between each part of The Great Aurora. I thought that would give time for the trigger off of Suspension Field to happen.

Nothing can interfere with the resolution of a spell or ability, so Schuesseled is right. The idea is great, though. Lots of elemental tokens.

Player3.14, weisemanjohn, Schuesseled: Actually the Suspension Field and The Great Aurora combo would drop the omnath back into play before the lands.
Suspension Field has a duration clause,. So when it leaves the battlefield, the creature is returned to the game immediately. It does not use the stack, nor does it wait until state based actions are check, i.e. after the spell is completed.

pskinn01 is absolutely correct about that combo. Not suggesting it's realistic to pull off but the duration clause is not a trigger or anything that uses the stack. Think of it like morph on Willbender or Voidmage Apprentice. It just happens

IvoryFrost - Ulamog's Crusher was a common. You have to hit 8 mana anyways, an 8/9 trample is a fine card for 8 mana.

IvoryFrost - Btw, Ulamog's Crusher was also a common in Rise of the Eldrazi. That set was weird, but the point stands.

I wonder about the new dual lands. Are they going to be like the ones we heard about:
CARDNAMEMountain Swamp
CARDNAME comes into play tapped unless you control 2+ basic lands.
I'm not sure if I'd want these, especially for a three color deck. They would CIPT most of the time. :/
Anyway, I thought about building the new Omnath...then I remembered how dreadfully expensive Azusa, Lost but Seeking is and I lost all hope.
