You can't play lands.

Sacrifice a land: Draw two cards. Activate this ability only once each turn.

i can see vintage or Modern play, but has anyone figured out or have some ideas to play this card with?...ive been think about it and hasnt come out with anything decent yet...and i know there is or there will be ...since this is clearly a Combo card

I hope there'S someone out there who builds a ramp deck with this. Exploration just got a reprint, Azusa, Lost but Seeking and Crucible of Worlds could help. Maybe this could even be possible with Seismic Assault . Let the homebrewers get to it.

Karametra, God of Harvests sneaks lands into play without "playing" them

so as long as you keep dropping creatures; land shouldn't be a problem!

greyninja thanks this loos to be some hard work brew to me...i will give it a shot thou and even with the new Nissa ultimate could help if get to do it

for Standard Arbiter of the Ideal , Burnished Hart , Font of Fertility , Frenzied Tilling , Into the Wilds and Unexpected Results can all 'cheat' land into play. (As well as Nissa's ultimate)

Clearly shouldn't need all of them... but a few would let you get around not being able to play land...

Beyond that, there's simply the idea of not playing this until you have a few extra land in play. if you can cast everything in your deck, and still have untapped land left over play this, sac a land... then sac another on your opponents turn... sac one on your turn... you're now up 6 cards in hand...

Cast an "Invasive Species" to return this to your hand, and start playing land again.

Looks like solid card advantage in a R/G Ramp deck to me.

There's also Borborygmos Enraged ... if you've ramped into him... you can now sac a land, draw 2 cards, and the land you draw but can't play can be tossed as free a Lightning Bolt to your opponent's face.

almerican it came to my mind with the mentioned cards to build a RUG deck with

Horizon Chimera

Spellheart Chimera

that Skulker card fits really good too

Aggressive Mining (I assume) is supposed to go with RDW for when they have enough land to play anything but not the hand.

Another idea would be Blue/Red using cards like conjured currency or daring thief to force it onto your opponent
