So there's a new race in Khans:
It's a pretty good card, but I like the introduction of a new humanoid race that still uses the "primal" creature type- similar to the Aven (Aven Mindcensor ), which are incidentally part of the Abzan as well.
Even without the clause, a 2/1 for 2 in limited is not bad. Given that limited is a somewhat slower format, I have a feeling Abzan will makes waves there.

It won't be horrific in constructed either. The nice thing with its text is that you can drop it late game to potentially give all your creatures first strike permanently for 2 mana. It's like nearly constructed playable I think.

I also love the different controlling feel of the Abzan. I was thinking some form of outliving your opponent through attrition, etc. and they delivered there. And if the Sorin's actually real, I really like how the colors are shaping up.

Yeh they're like dog humans.
It's like a mini Archetype of Courage . I like it a lot.
At common its going to be insane in limited.
