I agree, card seems dope.

No, I can't see the image... But I did see the spoiler earlier today.
A walker that can protect itself (i.e. - 2/2 Wolf), give Haste, a Trample buff, and so forth is absolutely nuts. Plus at 4 CMC it's playable with 4 loyalty.

How about now?
Only problem for the card in Modern is having a deck it actually fits in.
March 15, 2016 6:37 p.m.
Still no image. I want to start brewing a rg/x midrange deck.

Ugh.
I was thinking Rug, certainly fits Kiki Chord better than Nahiri.

I think I got it. image link thing on the comment box doesn't work.

I see the image. Disappointed that it is RG and not WG or something but oh well

its definitely a neat card almost like a huntmaster planeswalker but she needs a deck to fit in she doesnt make a deck she just makes a deck better this is both for standard an dmodern and I dont think either exists yet.

Big Naya isn't an established deck and I'm sceptical that a new PW makes ot one.

I was thinking perfect replacement for Chandra, Pyromaster as well. Might make her a 2-3 of. But I agree, she's an auto include in Jund. More bolts!

I am disappointed with this card... DISSAPOINTED WITH HOW GOOD IT IS I WANTED ONE BUT NOW IT'S GONNA BE REALLY EXPENSIVE -cries quietly-
March 15, 2016 7:53 p.m.
I can't wait for SOI to come out so I can start brewing a deck for this card.
March 15, 2016 8:49 p.m.
I hope people play her in Kiki Chord because then they can call it Kord Chord.
March 15, 2016 8:51 p.m.
Since I know it is going to come up eventually:
The turn Arlinn comes out, she can activate the 0 and flip BUT she cannot immediately activate her +1 because even though she has transformed, she is the same creature and has already activated an ability on the current turn.
So, with no cards manipulating counters, she takes 4 turns to give an emblem.
Is this correct?

I believe that is how it works.
Ultimate isn't what makes the card good.
March 15, 2016 8:57 p.m.
She is the still same Planeswalker (I assume you meant that over Creature). Planeswalkers can only activate an ability once per turn. Since she never actually leaves the battlefield nothing about her ever resets or fundamentally changes other than her name and her abilities.
March 15, 2016 9:23 p.m.
Oh, I want. I never play gruul, but I want.
It's mostly that she can control flipping in both directions. She can give vigilance, haste, tokens, burn, boosts to P/T, and trample. This is STUPID flexible.
March 15, 2016 9:51 p.m.
There's some seasoned Jund players at my LGS who are very on the fence where she's concerned. They doubt she'll outshine Huntmaster. But they're being skeptical.
March 15, 2016 10:40 p.m.
TMBRLZ She does everything you want Huntmaster to do except gain life. She isn't removed by Terminate, Path to Exile, Pyroclasm, Doom Blade, etc. She is incredible. Now I just have to pull 2 or trade into them. She is a standard all-star and I can't wait to use her.
No doubt in my mind, she is a 1-2 auto include in place of Huntmaster.

True :/. But we might still get a legendary creature werewolf.

In all seriousness though, Arlinn is a powerhouse. Relevant abilties on both sides, plus dat sexy wolf art tho. I'd say I want one for EDH but a) it'll be way too expensive for me to afford in short order, and 2) I don't run anything R/G/x at the moment (currently only running Grixis and mono-blue).

DrFunk27 - Don't get me wrong. I think she's cool. I love werewolves in MTG. I'm just sharing the other opinions I have access too. From people who understand competitive MtG a little bit better than I do.

This card is not a slam dunk by any means. The flipping back and forth will create some rough steering. Arlinn can always generate card advantage and is awesome when ahead. When trying to stabilize or catch up it won't just do what you need it to though. Need to chump that 5/5 for a couple turns while digging for answers? Need to remove that 2 drop or finish off a walker right now?
There are definite flaws to go along with the high power of Arlinn. I think both Xenagos, the Reveler and Gideon, Ally of Zendikar are better cards for perspective.

A planeswalker tailored to my werewolf deck! =D
If what people are saying in here actually happens, I'll be happy and sad. Happy because Huntmaster will probably go down, sad because she'll have a decent price tag lol.

Bad ass!!! She's even Modern playable and nuts in EDH. I'm thinking Animar, Soul of Elements.
