Amonkhet Possibilities?

On the site for Amonkhet it talks about there being 5 gods, emphasizing that these are gods. Last time we had gods, they were enchantment creatures. Is it possible that enchantment creatures could be making a comeback in this new set? If not, what mechanic do you think might be in this new set?

I would love to see more Gods. They don't have to be enchantment creatures. If they were I wouldn't be upset though.

I think the 5 gods might be the five elder dragons (especially because bolas is one of the gods)

Given that the ancient Egyptians placed a great importance on death and the afterlife, I expect there to be a large amount of cards with abilities that trigger when creatures die and cards that use graveyards as a resource.
I do expect that the deities of Amonkhet shall be different mechanistically from the deities of Theros; and I like kaneki's idea of them being the original five elder dragons, since there have already been monocolored and two-colored deities, but not three-colored deities, yet.
Also, since one of Liliana's two remaining demons, Razaketh, vaguely resembles an Egyptian pharaoh, I predict that he shall appear on Amonkhet, as well.

I doubt im the only person who thinks that bringing the old elder dragons as gods is lazy, unfitting, and a waste of the potential of the set.

I think it will be that Bolas is a pupeteer of some sort for the 5 gods on the plane.

Might this block have any reference to slavery and/or the story of Moses and the Exodus, or will WotC wish to avoid such a potentially sensitive subject?

I also predict a lot of death effects and kill spells... In fact I'm still holding out for a Masterpiece Damnation... Shhh I know it won't happen but let me dream!
Anyways back on topic, Yeah, death effects. I also don't think the 5 gods will be enchantment creatures... in fact given Tezzeret's connection to Bolas I wouldn't be surprised if the Gods were artifact creatures that were made so Bolas can pull the strings safely from the background... Liliana's demon also seems rather likely, I just hope the don't screw him up like they did with Kothophed, Soul Hoarder...

I doubt it. They'll want to make Amonkhet distinctive from Theros, and what made Theros special? The enchantment creatures and their Gods. If they make enchantment creatures for Amonkhet, it'll just be stealing Theros's thunder.
