So it begins. Apparently someone pulled a Portuguese Amonkhet card in a MM3 pack. Here it is. 
Dusk 2WW
Sorcery
Destroy all creatures with power 3 or greater
Dawn 3WW
Sorcery
Consequence - cast this spell only from your graveyard. Then exile it.
Return all creatures with power less than or equal to 2 from your graveyard to your hand.
My favorite card so far is either the demon or Sixth Sense. Curiosity back in Standard is exciting!

Some of those cards a very nice, especially the reprints. While the reprint of Giant Spider is nice, I would much rather see Ancient Spider, as there is no better set in which to reprint it than this one, and the latter is better than the former in almost every way.

This card design is hideous, and the whole "brick counters" made me throw a chair out the window. And no, I am not joking, and no, I did not open the window.

My favorite part in all of this is the counter token. The fact that brick counters are pictured as a literal brick is pretty funny!

Y'all, I know that anybody can say this and I don't really have the written, dated, and signed document to back this up...but...
I called white zombies in Amonkhet!! and I'm pumped that I got it right.
My brother and I were talking about the new set, and I predicted that Amonkhet would use the Egyptian cult of the dead to bring a very W flavor to Zombies, who would be more like mummies.
I'm super pumped about this. First, it means I can finally build a Necromancer's Covenant tribal. Second, the new set so far seems full of these kinds of mechanics that push the envelope in new (and hopefully good) directions.
Anyone else vindicated on predictions so far?

Okay, so I have few ideas about how Oracle's Vault can be good without knowing anything else in Amonkhet. For now, this idea would fall under Sultai Control, which isn't very competitive in current Standard. But, it's an idea.
Use some combination of Winding Constrictor, Skyship Plunderer, or Maulfist Revolutionary to get 3 Brick Counters on Oracle's Vault quicker.
Use cards like Anticipate, Glimmer of Genius, or other cards that Scry to set up which card is on top of your deck.
When your opponent plays something you want to counter, tap Oracle's Vault to cast the top card you've set up to be Torrential Gearhulk, Negate, Disallow, etc.
Obviously, this is a "neat" concept, but unsustainable in the current meta. I would hope that something else in AKH would give a deck like this better options because I would love to see it work.

Personally, I'd add blue to a W/B zombie EDH deck (Maybe under Oloro, Ageless Ascetic for a placeholder). Then you get to add Traumatize to hit a creature-heavy player with before Necromancer's Covenant.

If these "incarnations" are indeed the Masterpiece/Expedition set of Amonkhet then I bet they are planeswalkers. a) Since there are different forms (or incarnations) of each planeswalker, and b) Bolas has always meddled with PW's so it makes sense.

I'm curious the original incarnations are almost all still relevant in commander in some way shape or form.
I mean who doesn't love Anger?
Hopefully we see cool takes on these. Would be interesting if they were solid creatures that did something cool while in the graveyard but also had embalm making you choose wether the graveyard benefit is better than having the creature.

Linkdude74, the Consequence ability says only cast it from the graveyard. Thus, you can't cast the bottom part with an expertise card.

I never stated you could cast the bottom half, but could use the cmc of the bottom half to cast the top half without paying it's mana cost, as it's 1 card with 2 different cmc.

Linkdude74 I don't think that will work because they are, by name, two different spells, just on one card printing. You would have to use the CMC that is printed on the spell that you can play from your hand, not the one that is casted from your graveyard. An example of what I mean would be something like Fuse cards. It is two seperate spells, just printed on one card. You can't pay the mana cost of one spell to cast the other one.

You're not paying the mana cost of eother, the card has 2 converted mana costs. Theoretically, if you wanted to just cast entering on Breaking you could because the card has a cmc of 2 or less, even though the entering half is not 2. It also has entering's cmc

Ceondoc that's not quite true. I can use Brain in a Jar with two counters on it to cast either side of Boom/Bust for example, even though one side costs six mana and not two

Ah ok. Thanks for clarifying that saj0219 Linkdude74. The problem is, because of the Consequence ability, you would not be able to cast it from your hand, even with an expertise card.

Apparently there's also a Chain Lightning and a Maelstrom Pulse masterpiece, though I don't have reputable sources for either of those and am on a phone (so I'm tired of looking/navigating)

I like the thought put into the border themewise, and the art is fabulous. The problem I have is how clunky it looks. Maybe it'l grow on us, I can't tell for sure. Right now though, it's not too great.

Ceondoc, I never stated we could cast the consequence half. I actually stated we never could. Was a post after my initial saying we could cast top half off of bottom cmc.

I'm not sure what kind of deck Oracle's Vault could fit into... It seems to want to be control but flipping over counterspells and the like seems really bad...
Archfiend seems really dope and is definitely an easy slot for Living End decks, I just hope we can try to pull off some type of real reanimator deck that can compete...
Rest of the cards are meh at best... Embalm and Exert seem interesting but they lack good cards so far... Have to wait and see on them.
They really need to reprint a Rest in Peace or at least a Tormod's Crypt to fix standard though... If I see one of those effects on a usable card then I'll really start getting hyped.
