Title says it all

Read this earlier. Such a shame, I thought the clash packs and event decks were doing fairly well. We got some sweet cards in the last few.

I'm actually pretty glad, that they got rid of these. I mean, they were often some pretty bad products. Yes, occasionally it had some value, but often it was just jank. I would rather see some better and more interesting products.

I'd much rather see the intro decks trashed than the event decks go, but understand why in both senses that isn't the case.
Would it kill WotC to do something new with the intro decks though?
Bigger question: Will we get another Modern Event Deck or does that come under that umbrella?

Really tho, that would be awesome.

Woooow. Honestly though, did WotC actually make any money of these? I know I never bought one. lol Not that people didn't buy them, but this just doesn't surprise me.

I'd rather the intro packs just stop being bad but eh. I mean i don't care that they lack value. I care that the decks are just generally poorly made.

Premium deck series reprint would be nice...a collection for all 3...

I'm hoping this means they are closer to having a commander series and another supplemental series such as MM2015 or Conspiracy each year.

I liked the idea of them, but losing them doesn't hurt my feelings at all. I don't think it'll have too much of an impact, other than allowing cards like Hangarback Walker and Tasigur to keep their value throughout the season

As other have said the premium deck series was really nice and I would also be in favor of doing those over Clash Packs. Clash Packs (Until the Siege Rhino one) didn't have many good cards in them at all.

I'm just sad that there's going to be less alternate art promos out there. I love them to death.

I don't like the way they did the foiling in the PDS decks. They warp way too easily- even easier than most regular foils, and those warp pretty easily themselves.

SO ANGRY! They just started getting good, ya know, with the hangarback walker and tasigur in the last one.

I agree with canterlotguardian. The foiling on PDS cards is horrendous. They're nearly unplayable in constructed formats due to their bend, and they age extremely poorly. Unless WotC fixes the PDS foils, I don't want to see them printed again. lol They should just release more Duel Decks. Those are actually enjoyable.

I'm sad about the Event Decks / Clash Packs.
More about the Clash packs as you could get value out of them buy being able to tweak them for FNM, or just play them against each other at home.
I am one of the few people who enjoy Intro packs, it would seem.
I usually grab two, sleeve them up, and play them at home with my partner.
They are usually very well-balanced against each other, and often give me a chance to try mechanics / cards that I otherwise wouldn't experience.

This is why they increased the value in the last packs for each.

hm I dont really have an issue with it but it does give them ways of reprinting overpriced standard cards to decrease price...oh well
