Announced during GP Indy, the Spring 2016 set is Shadows over Innistrad!

Ok so it actually was the reveal of Brain in a Jar? I was right :D.. Is this all? Why was there a countdown for this?

Assuming Wizards finishes the Tango-Land-Cycle from Battle Fore Zendikar, the Cathedral could quite actually be the one. The lab could be the

I think that's one of the big questions of the set. In one of the cards that were spoiled via the Duel Decks, Jace says: "I'm certain that the fate of Markov Manor is connected to these cryptoliths...' This Tamiyo was on to something."

smackjack - One card so far! There are clearly 4 spots for cards, and there are 3 spots remaining. So it means more than just the Brain in the Jar.

I'm all for a boros or orzhov nahiri. I'd be impressed if they made her mono black honestly. What she's doing is selfish and straight up evil. How would they make her white aligned?

if i remember correctly, in nahiri's UR story, shes was troubled by the fact that there were vampires on zendikar bc there never were before. its safe to say they she never knew that the vampires were created due to the eldrazi. so she probably thinks sorin is the reason and isnt happy about it. shes quoted in the flavor text ""As Zendikar has bled, so will innistrad." maybe shes referring to the bloodshed the vampires caused on zendikar

My gut is saying Nahiri; once was mono-white, now is likely . I don't know about you, but that is defiantly red magic coming from her

The vampires of zendikar were confirmed to have been there before the eldrazi came. Which means nahiri wouldve known they were there. I think her rage would be better directed for two simple goals of revenge.
Sorin has obviously done something to piss her off and the millennia old vampire feels guilty about it. he's notorious for not feeling anything except for things that he cares about. Nahiri is pissed she wants revenge.
She's over all furious with the lackluster performance of her "help" when the eldrazi escaped the first time. While sure she alone was powerful enough to put them back in line she knew she might not be able to do it again. She feels betrayed and left as more of a road block or even a sacrificial stall tactic then as an ally that is valued. However she knows she cannot defeat Ugin who scared her from when they first met. So she's taking it out on the vampire whos pissed her off.

That Heir is fantastic. Even in the lategame, it's still relevant as a Madness enabler.

Heir is a great one-time Madness enabler. The Bishop seems decent at least, a 2/3 flier for 3 is good. I'm not sure about Pick the Brain, but it looks good.

So since Heir mentions that you can only transform her once a turn (with no other reasoning listed on the card), one would have to assume that there will be at least one or two cards that can force things to transform. Thoughts?
