I'd just like to point out, before it's everywhere, I did Zombie Tribal before it was cool. No link because I don't want to advertise, but it's on my profile if you want proof. Super hyped for some new upgrades, although it sucks Sidisi is rotating out. Still got Risen Executioner though!

Glad to see Geralf is still doing mad scientist things.....or is it Ludevec? Nah, it's both...

I don't like Jace for this set (well I don't really like him at all most of the time...). Maybe Tibalt? I would shit to see a U/R Tibalt... just sayin'.

tibalt is 1 million percent RB. nothing he's ever done has been blue

@Grantley91: Jace is in Half of the cards and on the boosters, as well as the posterboy for the Edition. The chances of Jace not being in the set are about as good as me getting Katheryn Winnick into bed. As much as either of us wishes, it's not gonna happen.
And before someone points out the obvious: Yes, Jace has been on Oath boosters and not in the set. That is true, but Jace is currently the starting page of magic.wizards.com. Come on.

Tibalt is the embodiment of sadistic chaos, he's pretty mono-red/

he's also the perfect picture of a deranged sociopath according to his back story

It's Delver on Steroids. As it turns out, steroids cost .

Lol I love how it starts off already as Delver of Secrets Flip, but then the guy continues his experiments and mutates himself even further! Love all the references so far!

I love how the flavor text continues the story. It's actually creepy. Man, Magic's a hell of a game.
March 4, 2016 10:46 p.m.
Why is it when I post the pictures they don't work :'
Though I'm hyped as hell right now since delver of secrets grew up to become super mantis. I mean sure I could be greedy and say that he should be a two mana 3/2 transforming into a 5/4 but hey we no ones allowed to be meta defining twice.
Though I'm excited for this set the power level seems to be at the same tier as the power level from the original innistrad.

@CheeseBro, Fun fact: One of Wizard of the coast's other tcgs, duel masters, actually has triple faced cards! So yeah, the more you know.
March 4, 2016 10:50 p.m. Edited.
AwesomeName It's a shame wizards hasn't printed those for magic but I understand why they haven't. Such cards would weigh differently and would be a lot harder to shuffle if the owner chose to sleeve the card.
Though I'll be honest it would be freaking awesome and I want one.

so the video won't load for me. how does it flip 3 times exactly? is one side like a kamigawa card or something?
March 4, 2016 11:03 p.m.
JohnnyBaggins that may be but my main logic is given his story and the color of his debut card it seems clear enough, although, yes rakdos is more sadastic in theme
March 4, 2016 11:05 p.m.
JohnnyBaggins says... #28
@VampireArmy: It's actually a foldable card. Variant 1 is the front. Variant 2 is the back folded open and variant three is all three sides. It's not only horrible but also won't exist in Magic.
Monsmtg: So we essentially agree?

Ej1997: are you trying to post the images on mobile? I don't think the site likes you doing that on mobile.
March 4, 2016 11:10 p.m.
JohnnyBaggins I think? TBH I'm a little tired, but I don't think we need to drag it out more.

i'm sticking to Tibalt being Rakdos based on his duel deck (which takes place after the events of Avacyn Restored I believe) and his actually casting Blightning in the art. like he's literally using black mana there
March 4, 2016 11:13 p.m.
GoldGhost012 that explains it. Yeah I'm on my phone right now I was excited to see the new cards. I always liked the story behind delver as he was one of a kind in innistrad.

Tibalt is Red-Based but currently Rakdos-Aligned. Can we all agree on that?
March 4, 2016 11:23 p.m.
VampireArmy says... #34
sure. Now wotc needs to do me a solid and print him in this set as such :)

Delver of Secrets Flip's big brother! Or rather him later, hence the metamorphosis flavor text. He went from Delver to Insectile Aberration to Aberrant Researcher and then is Perfect Form. Pretty cool flavor.

How do we fit colors for those families?
Garnet of Unbridled Rage (Voldaren Family)
Jade of the Hopeful (Unknown Family)
Amethyst of the Regal (Stormkirk Family)
Hematite of the Doomed (Markov Family)
Quartz of Eternal Thirst (Falkenrath Family)
Most are obvious, the exception being Amethyst. The others are very clear in their colors while Amethyst is Purple being the combination of +
. Thoughts?

Falkenrath has been very aligned in Innistrad. I have strong doubts they're suddenly White. I don't think the jewels have anything to do with mana-colour-alignment.

Well, Sorin and Nahiri are going to be in this block.
My overall predictions for Planeswalkers are:
SHADOWS OVER INNISTRAD:
Arlinn Kord
Nahiri
Jace
ELDRITCH MOON:
Sorin
Liliana
March 5, 2016 5:33 a.m.
Maybe Nahiri will be W/R, Jace U, Arlinn R/G, Sorin B/W and Liliana B?
March 5, 2016 5:34 a.m.
JohnnyBaggins says... #47
I sign with everything Malvion has just said. I don't want to exclude the possibilty of Nahiri being some other colour(s), she seems a little too pissed to actually still be White, so I wouldn't outrule Mono-Red. Imagine that... a planeswalker that goes into RDW in Modern. Nah, rather not imagine that.
March 5, 2016 6:20 a.m.
Isn't being vindictive loosely in the color pie of white (Avenging Arrow, for example)?
Even if she isn't being Radiant-esque white or simply trying to help Sorin "fix" his "home", there's no evidence indicating that Nahiri is red. Even if she is intentionally bringing Markov Manor down, depicted doing this on a red card, it could still be a Call the Gatewatch case.
We must investigate this further. Too soon? Sorry, I'm going to go hang my head in shame.
March 5, 2016 6:34 a.m.
Nahiri is playing his time around. Though is it possible she's Mardu colors? I mean all this is bloody and evil but she's still doing it justifiably.
And I finally figured out the story reason for the investigate gimmick. The "investigation" is looking for nahiri and the "clues" are the pieces of lithomancy she's leaving behind.

new nahiri?
