Come take a look at these two, since the Cornucopia was already spoiled.

Sure Revoke Existence is a reprint, but a pretty apt one I think.

...So Searing Blood is now 8 damage for RR...?

...and in Modern, Lightning Bolt is now 6 damage for R..?

People thought Young Pyromancer was the Red Dark Confidant ...? Well, it's just been replaced.

I am so excited for my red deck its gonna be even better! I honestly might put it in legacy and try it because that way I dont have to waste my burn spell on delver or stoneforge

The risk is if you start slinging to the dome, they can toast this guy and save their creach.

This + Char + Boros Reckoner ....

4 damage to your opponent... 4 damage to a creature your opponent controls... 2 damage to you... 2 damage to Boros Reckoner ... 2 damage to either your opponent, or a creature your opponent controls.

Can you get much better than 10 damage to opponent/creatures for 3 mana?

@Jp3ngu1nb0y - I think that's a small risk for the power of this guy.

@... myself... this only triggers when an opponent takes damage, not every player. As such, this doesn't let you take your Char damage and hit Boros Reckoner - But it also means you don't have to worry about being forced to hit your own creature with your Char damage.

I'm not questioning that it's powerful, just pointing out risk :)

Now I see why Fated Conflagration does not have the option to hit a player.

I want every copy of Revoke Existence that I own to be replaced by foils of the new art. Card is sick.

Spootyone - In the Magic Arcana, Trick Jarret does write, "That art is slightly more... epic than the first. I think we can all agree to that."

I too want a bunch of foils of this card.

He'd only burn himself if they redirect the spell back to your face. So it makes Chain Lightning a bit riskier

RussischerZar says... #17

He can't burn himself since it specifies "opponent". You're not your own opponent, at least not in Magic.

too bad you can't apply the damage to your own creature, otherwise you could apply it to your own Boros Reckoner and double the damage.
