I saw this card in magic origins and tarmo twin immediately cam to mind. will this card replace Pestermite in the RUG variants of twin? Pros: doesnt die to electrolyze or kolaghan's command, hits for 3 not 2. Cons: no evasion, can't tap an opponent's land

We've been talking about it in the main Spoiler thread. The conclusion is, probably not because it dies to Lightning Bolt and other unconditional removal.

Fun fact: Krasis is from the greek word for "to combine".

The actual reason it will not replace Pestermite is that it cannot tap/untap lands and doesn't fly while Pestermite does both those things. Also, the green mana requirement actually makes a difference when casting it.

That being said, it's tokens stay alive and can attack through illness in the ranks

I could possibly see it in the sideboard if soul sisters is prevalent in the meta. Flying on Pestermite might not be entirely relevant, if your goal is infinite tokens

Personally I think it's a fine card for certain rug twin lists, though I feel that the common rug tarmo twin list may not have room for it, and would maybe have it in the side board as a 1-2 of at best as usually tapping down a land would be more usefull than the larger body unless Illness in the Ranks becomes a more frequent sideboard card as Bounding Krasis is currently the only 3cmc twin target that can still go infinite against the enchantment. I started doing a bit of brewing with it myself in a more tempo orientated rug twin build and it seems decent and worth experimenting with when origins comes out.
