Cheap angels to round out the curve?

Ok, so what does anyone think the chances are of Wizards putting out 1-3 drop angels to round out the curve? I don't need anything broken, but a one drop flyer 1/1 is not an uncommon thing in any color, and some have very strong abilities that are added onto that (see: Jace's Phantasm. If they vomited up some angels the same way that Zendikar block vomited up Vampire choices, then I could finally build my angel tribal deck and not get smashed every time i played it. Anyone think this will pan out, or is my dream made of the stuff of pipes?

This is the cheapest Angel I am aware of, so if they print any Angels that are fewer than 3 cmc it'd be few and far between.

@ M a g i c a l H a c k e r you got me there lol. Though the only one I would play at 2 Cmc is the avenger lol.

Actually according to gatherer there are 9 angels with a CMC of 3 or less.
Angelic Curator, Angelic Page, Serra Avenger, Sustaining Spirit, Emancipation Angel, Guiding Spirit, Haunted Angel, Illusory Angel, and Jenara, Asura of War

@abenz419 Curator and Page I'm down with, avenger has to be vialed in or else be summoned on 4, sustaining is ... unsustainable with the cumulative upkeep, emancipation is going to probably pick up a land if i'm dropping her....I just want a 1-drop 1/1 with Flying. Other colors have it, why can't i? :)

@Schuesseled Agreed, but I need that keyword if I'm making a tribal.

Making angel tribal doesn't mean every creature needs to be an angel. A lot of tribal decks use creatures outside the tribe as support.

i know it doesn't need to be ComradeJim270, but that's what I was hoping to do; make it a pure tribal.

Interesting goal, I can respect that. If that's your plan you should probably run some low cost control cards to keep people from attacking you until the angels hit the field.

ComradeJim270, that's actually a pretty solid point. I could white turbofog or removal (Journey to Nowhere, etc.) to get time for the angels to hit. Thanks for that!

@abdulbaqr See your asking the wrong thing... you say other colors have a 1 drop 1/1 flyer why can't you. Well white does, you just want it to go that extra mile and be an angel too. Angels typically aren't small dainty creature, so basically the question becomes... do you want a 1 drop 1/1 flyer or do you want an angel? Because, thematically, the two don't exist together so the likelihood of getting one printed is almost non-existent.

Shapeshifters are actually a cool way to pull this off. They will be angels!
August 24, 2015 5:23 p.m.
I've always loved using certain shapeshifters in tribal decks that are for the most part unplayable. Building a shapeshifter/dragon deck seems like a fun challenge!

Dig on the shapeshifters thing, but it still isn't a one-drop. That's what I'm looking for mostly.

There are a couple one drop shapeshifters but I believe they are blue, give me one second.

The only one-drop with the type "Angel" will be Mothdust Changeling

oh well....thanks for listening to me gripe, everyone.

Angels are sort of like white leviathans, in that they are typically the creature type for white that fills the high end of the curve. Can we get cheap angels? Yes, but 3 is the cheapest we will probably get. Source: http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Search/Default.aspx?sort=cmc+&type=%20[angel]||subtype=%20[angel]
