So we're likely to get some info on C15 at PAX alongside all the other news. That said, I'm interested in hearing what you all would like to see in the 5 C15 decks. What themes would you want each deck to have? What reprints would make your day?
Remember, the decks are the 5 enemy color combinations , , , , and .
I really really want the UR deck to give us at least one legendary creature for the color combination that is heavily devoted to leveraging EDH artifact decks.
For BG, I would love to see more fungus creatures.
Beyond that, I'm also certainly going to snatch up all the decks anyway.

Id like to see Lightning Greaves reprinted, but we will probably just get more swiftfoot boots. Id like to see W/B be draingain, B/G as selfmill, U/R as prowesseqsue, R/W as tokens, and U/G as +1 counters.

I would love some new cards with Dredge to be in the one.

Zendikar fetches plz...
I don't really see myself getting one, but maybe if the legends were actually playable in high-level multiplayer. Maybe...

I'm a new player so my experience with enemy colour pairs is limited to RtR so I'm fine with Izzet/Orzhov reprints from the original Ravnica block to flesh out my collection (also those were my fav guilds in the block in terms of personality + mechanics)

There are so many cards that I wish to see in this set, so I shall mention only several in each post.
First and foremost, I wish to see the enemy-colored shocklands and filter lands reprinted; I know that that is very unlikely, but that is still my wish. In the event that they are not reprinted, I would wish for the Innistrad checklands (i.e., Clifftop Retreat, Isolated Chapel, etc.), since they have been printed only once and some are very expensive.
I also would very much like to see Gisela as one of the generals for the red/white deck, since she is very expensive to purchase as a single, and I need two copies of her for decks that I am building.
The preview artwork for this set looked very much like Deathrite Shaman, so I shall hope that that is who it is, since new artwork for that card would be nice (to explain, I have two copies in my black/green deck, and like to have as great a variety of artwork as possible in my decks; in fact, no two basic lands in any single deck of mine ever have the same artwork).
Both Debt to the Deathless and Angel of Despair would be awesome for the black/white deck, so I hope to see them in it.
Since Death Mutation was reprinted in the first Commander set, I would like to see AEther Mutation reprinted in the green/blue deck, so that it shall be available in the new card frame, and reprints of both Voidslime and Plasm Capture would be very welcome, as they have become very expensive, recently.

I too would like to see more fungus creatures and dredge cards in . And of course I want the enemy fetches like everyone else lol. Would be cool to see some storm and cascade make a comeback too.
Oh yeah, FILTER LANDS PLEASE.

All the enemy-colored lieges from Eventide would be amazing, considering how expensive Balefire Liege and Deathbringer Liege now are as singles, and the enemy-colored "demigods" (i.e., Deity of Scars, Overbeing of Myth, and so forth) would be nice, as well.
Utter End and Ashen Rider would aslo be nice, but I know that WotC usually avoids having too many powerful or expensive cards in a preconstructed deck, so I shall not hope for those cards too strongly.

I want a new UG Tiny Leaders-eligible commander. S'about it

Ill be happy if we get cool Izzet commander with an artifacts theme. It would be nice to have a decent Boros commander as well. A token generating commander that burns an opponent for 1 point of damage for every creature you play would be kinda cool for a Boros theme.

As long as the Boros commander does something that's relevant outside the combat phase, I will be happy. If it does something that says "put this in a control shell" I will be thrilled and will probably buy the deck the day it comes out.

A creature version of Assemble the Legion would be awesome for the red/white deck, and I also would very much like to see a creature version of Debtors' Knell, as well, since neither of those enchantments has any effect on the turn that they are cast, unless they can be cast at instant speed.
As for lower rarity cards, both Mortify and Putrefy would be excellent for this format, and it is always nice to have a reprint of Lightning Helix, as well.
In each of the past three Commander sets, each deck has had three generals, one reprinted and two new, so I expect that that shall be the case for this set, as well. How likely is it that at least one general per deck shall be a major character from the story of the game who has never been portrayed in the cards before? I would very much like to see that, in this set.

What's the deal with those five fetchlands that were floating around. Were they determined to be a fake?
August 28, 2015 1:56 a.m.
I'd kind of like to see some updated Ravnica legends. A spirit version of Szadek would be interesting.
August 29, 2015 1:19 a.m.
DemonDragonJ says... #21
PHC: how would fetchlands "suck," to use your word? I thought that most players were very fond of them.
This may not be the best place to ask this, but, rather than create an entirely new thread to ask it, I shall ask it here: since this year's Commander product shall focus on the five enemy-colored combinations, is it safe to presume that next year's Commander set shall focus on the five allied-color combinations?
August 29, 2015 9:18 a.m.
DemonDragonJ - Two things. If they put the enemy fetches into the C15 products, it would cause the prices to skyrocket at your LGS. It would also devalue the entire set as a whole.
As far as what C16 will be, Allied colors isn't a bad assumption. But we're WAY too far away for that to be a thing.
August 29, 2015 1:13 p.m.
What DemonDragonJ said. The Grixis pre-con was a pain to get because of True Name Nemesis. If all of this years precons had a fetchland in them LGS would likely sell them about their suggested retail price. I'd like to be able to just walk in and not get gouged.

Is there any chance that Rhystic Study may be reprinted in any of the decks in this set? It is rather expensive, due to its age, and its only reprint was in Commander's Arsenal, which is much more expensive than its original printing due to that set's very limited print run, so it would be very welcome, indeed, in this set.
September 13, 2015 12:15 a.m.
Rhystic Study is a $3 card. It's not that expensive. If you want a foil, sure it's going to cost more, but $3 is fairly affordable. As to a reprint, it might happen, but I won't be holding my breath.

DemonDragonJ says... #26
JWiley129: why not? Is it too powerful of a card to be reprinted?
September 13, 2015 9:01 a.m.
Rhystic Study is sort of exactly the kind of card they'd reprint, unless you think they won't reprint anything they put in Arsenal to like...avoid devaluing future Arsenal products.

DemonDragonJ says... #28
I actually would very much like to see another Commander's Arsenal, but with a much greater print run than what the original had, since that set had some awesome cards in it, but was simply too difficult to obtain, due to its terribly small print run. Full decks are nice, but it also would be very nice to have a set that contains randomly-assorted cards that are staples for, or otherwise useful in, the format, as well.

Devonin, that would be great, but, given that EDH format is very similar to vintage and legacy, how would such a set be different from the existing Vintage Masters?
Is there any chance that Time Warp might be reprinted in this set? That is another card that has become very expensive, recently, and, thus, needs another reprint.
September 27, 2015 1:03 a.m.
ComradeJim270 says... #31
Well for one DemonDragonJ, Vintage Masters doesn't physically exist. Because many of the cards are on the reserved list.

I'd love some new cool BW stuff for my Teysa, Orzhov Scion deck.
September 27, 2015 7:03 p.m.
I would definitely love to finally get a competitive commander for Boros, Orzhov, and Golgari. Let's hope they have fun command zone interactions like Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, or absurdly broken synergistic abilities in general. :3

I also would not mind seeing Llanowar Dead in the black/green deck, because, while Deathrite Shaman is superior to it in nearly any situation, that card is still useful and has never been reprinted.
Also, both Assemble the Legion and Glory of Warfare would be awesome for the red/white deck, and a reprint of Suffocating Blast would be very nice, as well.

Also, I would rather not see Sol Ring in this set, since that card has been printed often enough in the past three sets (I know that is is very likely that it shall be in this set, but I still am hoping against it). Given that Thran Dynamo was in the previous set, I would very much like to see either Chromatic Lantern and/or Gilded Lotus in this set, since they have both become rather expensive, recently.

Camper116, I absolutely agree with you, since far too few cards in the previous Commander set had new artwork, in my opinion, and the same is true for the previous Modern Masters set, as well.
I would like to see Debtors' Knell in the black/white deck, since it is a powerful card, but whose high mana cost makes it rarely played in most formats, but well-suited for this format.
October 11, 2015 12:23 a.m.
I went ahead and preordered the decks anyway. I mean, C14 was really good, and that raised my (and I assume everyone else's) expectations. Here's what I would love to see:
U/R: I strongly suspect that this will be artifacts, but why not artifacts and spellslinging? Maybe make new cards that work with both?
R/W: I'd like to see something interesting. Nothing to do with the combat phase (as much as previous other legends at least).
W/B: Reanimator? Please? k, thnx.
B/G: ...that said, I suspect this will be reanimator/graveyard based. I'm guessing on the artwork alone. This deck is the one I'll be watching for.
G/U: On the other hand, this is the deck that I won't care so much for. Why? Cards like Prophet of Kruphix seriously tainted my view of the color combination. Maybe something that doesn't reek of "I win. Good game guys?"
Those are my thoughts on the deck. I might make a commander box using all 10 dual-colored decks, but I'm not sure how that will hold up, considering my pattern for building decks. :/
Maringam says... #2
Obzedaddy, Zegana, and friends as possible commanders with the decks having Ravnican themes.
REPRINTS: Fetchlands, Dual lands (lol),
