Commissar Severina Raine Leg. Human Soldier 2/2
Leading the Front - Whenever ~ attacks, each opponent loses X life, where X is the number of other attacking creatures.
Summary Execution - , Sac another creature: You gain 2 life and draw a card.
I'm curious what homes other people have for this degenerate card? It's IMMEDIATELY going in my Isshin deck (Isshin - Army of Darkness if someone wants to suggest a cut) personally (and probably my Sidar/Tymna deck too tbh).

It seems pretty decent in most token-heavy sacrifice decks. It's a worse Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and pairs decently with Sifter of Skulls, Ashnod's Altar, Pitiless Plunderer, and the like.
I don't have any specific uses for it because it's outside of the color identities of most of my decks that would want it.

Caerwyn You could always get an alter done. Feels like it's mainly her hat and uniform that invokes that feeling... the rest feels like a typical soldier thing to me at least.

TheOfficialCreator - I am not sure “worse Yawgmoth” is a fair statement - the card ability on Yawgmoth is better, but that is not the only ability on Severina. The attack trigger is really good and can close out games or substantially advance your victory with just one swing.
She is a really good card that does something different than Yawgmoth - it is hard to compare their overall quality directly (especially in the 99) when they both want to do different things.
Last_Laugh - “But you can take the onus on yourself to fix the Nazi imagery on Wizards’ card” leaves a bad taste in my mouth. As someone who likes neither alters nor Nazi imagery, I’ll stick with waiting for Wizards to shape up.

I have an Esper tokens deck that would love her - for three mana, she does a whole lot that I want for that deck. But I also have a strict rule against including flagrant SS imagery in my decks, so I’ll just wait and hope Wizards changes their mind and prints an in-universe equivalent one day.
