Woo! Another land that gives haste! And this one doesn't make you pay life to do it!

Ohthenoises says... #2

I want ALL the cards for this!

Not going to read through the previous pages but I feel like spoils of blood, dualcaster mage, and Feldon of the Third Path have potential in legacy.

Wave of Vitriol and Reef Worm make me giggle so hard. I love it.

FatherLiir says... #3

Ashling was never a planeswalker though. I think she did become like the Angel of Death in Shadowmoor, ala Ashling, the Extinguisher

Ohthenoises says... #4

I'm looking forward to adding Gamble and Faithless Looting to the deck.

Gamble for Wurmcoil Engine with no other cards in hand, drop him in grave, activate Feldon, I just paid for a Wurmcoil Engine .

Ohthenoises says... #5

Well, I suppose but that's to tutor him out too.

What if (highly unlikely) the red PW is a new Tibalt O.o

Red Lieutenant creature was spoiled by Evan Erwin!

Tyrant's Familiar -

Creature - Dragon (R)

Flying, Haste

Lieutenant - As long as you control your commander, Tyrant's Familiar gets +2/+2 and has "Whenever Tyrant's Familiar attacks, it deals 7 damage to target creature defending player controls."

Nothing escapes its gaze - or its breath.

5/5

Seven damage is a lot of damage...it's almost "Whenever Tyrant's Familiar attacks, kill target creature defending player controls."

October 29, 2014 12:45 a.m.

erabel says... #9

2 more artifacts, y'all!

Crown of Doom -

Artifact (Rare)

Whenever a creature attacks you or a planeswalker you control, it gets +2/+0 until end of turn.

: Target player other than Crown of Doom's owner gains control of it. Activate this ability only on your turn.

Assault Suit -

Artifact - Equipment (Uncommon)

Equipped creature gets +2/+2, has haste, can't attack you or a planeswalker you control, and can't be sacrificed.

At the beginning of each opponent's upkeep, you may have that player gain control of equipped creature until end of turn. If you do, untap it.

Equip

So? Thoughts?

lemmingllama says... #10

Assault Suit is just another card that Karona, False God decks want badly.

Also, so far the red and blue decks look the most exciting. I really wish we could get one or two more spoilers for the white deck, I want to say that it is token based but can't really tell

October 29, 2014 1:07 a.m.

wish12oz says... #11

Am I the only one that noticed the white soldier token is wearing the same armor and has the same sword as Elspeth, Knight-Errant except it's male? Knight Errant was just reprinted though in the modern event deck, so I doubt they put it in this deck, maybe it will be Elspeth Tirel or the white planeswalker will actually be a new Elspeth. But Tirel and Suns Champion have different armor when compared to the token.

Death_The_Kid says... #14

How do you add images?

October 29, 2014 5:53 a.m.

ChiefBell says... #15

You right click on the image and select 'open image in new tab' so you have a tab that's literally just the image. The address at the top will be the web address for that particular picture. OR you can right click and select 'copy image address'.

You then use this code

(img src=WEB ADDRESS)

Replace ( with < and replace ) with >

Thanks Chief

Living Death for artifacts, i like it i think lol

Femme_Fatale says... #18

Don't forget your quotes in front of and behind the web address.

Also, who the hell is Daretti, Scrap Savant? Makes me wonder if he is the reason for the questions "What is a contraption? And why do I want one?"

October 29, 2014 6 a.m.

Death_The_Kid says... #19

oh god a contraption sub theme would fit in with the mono red deck sooo well so far lol

October 29, 2014 6:01 a.m.

-MisterJ- says... #20

i'm SOOOOOOO excited for Daretti!!! Goblin Welder built in ability, sac artifacts for days, then use Scrap Mastery with his Emblem? DONE

Red deck looks dope, can we see some damn White??

October 29, 2014 7 a.m.

Rayenous says... #22

...so...

T1: Mountain , Sol Ring , Ruby Medallion (or other 2-drop mana producer)
T2: Mountain , Faithless Looting (Discarding Wurmcoil Engine ), Daretti , -2 to bring back Wurmcoil Engine .

and ...T3 is MUCH simpler

T1: Mountain , Sol Ring
T2: Mountain , Daretti, +2 Discarding Wurmcoil Engine
T3: -2 to Bring Back Wurmcoil Engine

Bellock86 says... #23

The fact that they really haven't spoiled a lot of white makes me think one of two things~

1) it is complete crap and they are waiting just because

Or the more likely

2) it's completely awesome and they are saving the best for last.

Ohthenoises says... #27

My money is on Serra as the white walker.

October 29, 2014 9:44 a.m.

JWiley129 says... #28

Ohthenoises - It looks more likely that Nahiri, the Lithomancer is the White PWmander. We've already hit 3 old 'walkers with new cards, and Serra would fit that category.

Also, I'M SUPER HYPE FOR THE DECK! Sooooo flavorful!

October 29, 2014 9:48 a.m.

Ohthenoises says... #29

Serra also fits the "never before seen" category. She's mentioned on tons of card but as of yet there has been no art to associate with her.

October 29, 2014 9:56 a.m.

Jay says... #30

The name of the deck is something about stone though right? Serra isn't really a stone mage, unlike the lithomancer.

October 29, 2014 10:53 a.m.

riddler89 says... #31

It is Nahiri the Lithomancer, fresh up on mythicspoiler

http://mythicspoiler.com/c14/cards/nahirithelithomancer.html

Sorry, no clue how to link anything

October 29, 2014 11:01 a.m.

golffore297 says... #32

The white walker has been spoiled, it's Nahiri, the Lithiomancer. Can't say I'm totally surprised, but she looks pretty sweet.

October 29, 2014 11:02 a.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #33

Damn, dat Kor!

October 29, 2014 11:03 a.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #34

What's even better is that Nahiri was spoiled in an Uncharted Realms article. LORE!!!!!

October 29, 2014 11:05 a.m.

ChiefBell says... #35

That's really cool. Going to be fantastic in a lot of decks.

October 29, 2014 11:06 a.m.

ChiefBell says... #36

Has anyone realised that the monogreen commander, representing the only deck that can play Doubling Season , is also the only PW that can ultimate as soon as shes played. She can therefore act as a 5mana 'draw X cards' spell which may be significant.

October 29, 2014 11:13 a.m.

MurderHood says... #37

"+2 put a 5/5 white Kor soldier with vigilance and Lifelink onto the battlefield." Looks like this is happening every game I play.,

October 29, 2014 11:21 a.m.

erabel says... #38

If the equipment in the white one and the artifacts in the red one line up at all with the black precon, then we're in for a sick set of precons.

October 29, 2014 11:23 a.m.

Quadsimotto says... #39

Id like to see more of the blue deck and the white deck but not much of either seems to be spoiled. High expectations there. I think a card like the reef worm is fun. Hope to see more shenanigans of that nature.

October 29, 2014 11:31 a.m.

Ezrius says... #40

Nahiri + Skullclamp = +2 ; Draw 2. Seems legit.

October 29, 2014 11:39 a.m.

EddCrawley says... #41

Just spoiled on StarCityGames;

Stormsurge Kraken

October 29, 2014 12:02 p.m.

Tiddilywinkus says... #42

Nahiri isn't really "never be for seen" in a sense more like "we put her in Stoneforge Mystic and never talked about her."

EddCrawley says... #43

October 29, 2014 12:06 p.m.

erabel says... #44

The thing is, Nahiri in the Planeswalker card is her from 6000 years ago, pre-Mending, pre-sealing the Eldrazi. There's no way it's the same person. Also, in 6000 years, the odds that no other Kor has developed magic or the way to make swords from stones using magic seems unlikely. Maybe she taught some people the basics and the whole art was passed down? And no one cares about changing styles because everything on Zendikar is actively trying to kill you?

October 29, 2014 12:09 p.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #45

Wow, dat Kraken. Me gusta.

Tiddilywinkus seems correct, it does look like there are enough similarities to conclude that Nahiri is Stoneforge Mystic . Most notably the band's on their left arms.

October 29, 2014 12:10 p.m.

ChiefBell says... #46

Kraken looks plenty fun.

October 29, 2014 12:11 p.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #47

erabel- I'm fairly sure that all these walker cards are post-mending representations of pre-mending walkers. Otherwise they'd basically be gods.

October 29, 2014 12:12 p.m.

erabel says... #48

GoldGhost012: Except Teferi lost his spark sealing a rift before the Great Mending, so there's literally no way for him to be a Planeswalker and for it also to be post-Mending. Freyalise also died sealing up another rift.

October 29, 2014 12:16 p.m.

Ohthenoises says... #49

Everyone comparing Nahiri and stoneforge mystic.

There are a series of tattoos on Nahiri's shoulder, none on Stoneforge.

I'd wager that it's the same tribe and Nahiri's knowledge has been passed down in the tribe. Stoneforge is her student's student or something like that.

October 29, 2014 12:17 p.m.

GoldGhost012 says... #50

erabel- right, I didn't actually mean that they existed in the lore as post-menders. I meant that if they did, that would be accurate rerepresentations of their power level and abilities.
