I just realized that Dromoka's Command can break the GW Devotion mirror match. Cast the command with "Target player sacrifices an enchantment + Fight or +1+1 counter" and you're going to get some great value out of it. I don't know if it's better in the mirror than Dragon Throne of Tarkir (seriously though...believe me) but I could see it as a 2-of maindeck with maybe 1 or 2 in the sideboard. That is, of course, if GW devotion survives all the new cards in Dragons of Tarkir.

I mean, yea Myth Realized can be bounced... but the point is that it builds up by itself, and when you have nothing better to do, it's a mana sink. In addition to that, it's its own combat trick. You can permanently pump it when it's a creature.

Okay.... so, Assault Formation turns Triton Tactics into:
- up to two creatures each get +3/+3, untap those creatures.
That's 2x Giant Growth + Untap, for !

That's actually a cool find. And considering how many awesome green 2-4 drops there are in the format, G/U aggro could be a thing.

Ohhh ya, Assault Formation is going to be the next great underrated/underplayed card. Just like Underworld Cerberus. I'm so hype right now. Not only that, but since it probably won't see much play, it'll be a very cheap rare. Probably 0.50 to 0.75 cents. So stoked.

I wonder if Meandering Towershell looks any better when it's effectively a 9/9...?
Especially game 1, when you attack and exile..., then next turn drop this on the field before the turtle returns.

It's also a big "screw you" to any U/B control or Temur decks. :D
I'm still deciding on what should be the colors behind a deck like this. Temur? Abzan? G/U aggro (which sounds hilariously awesome actually, thanks kyuuri117!)?

Runlue I mean you aren't always going to have an Assault Formation so you don't wanna go full walls. But yea it sounds interesting.

I'm already sold on Abzan. Black is the best color to clear the way, White gained a whole lot of undercosted big butts on Theros block, and green... well, is the whole point of the deck.
Also, Doran, the Siege Tower is in Abzan colors, and you just cannot rely on a single enchantment to do anything. If you don't draw any Assault Formation, it can get pretty ridiculous after a while.

I really like blue in the Assault Formation deck. You get to dig for your wincon more readily - especially if you use Commune with the Gods to fuel Dig Through Time if you don't hit AssForm - you get Dragon's Eye Savants and Monastery Flock, you get Ojutai's Command to reanimate your 4-6 toughness one and two drops while countering your opponents, you can basically just run Negate as your other counter spell, because your creatures with Triton Tactics win combat forever...
Anyone thinking Abzan Beastmaster in the deck?

I kinda want Temur just for their ascendency. Haste would be huge in a deck like that. A 3-drop 7/7 with haste? Come on, that's insane.

So you guys suggest bant? Interesting. My version ended up more controlly as a sultai build. You can check it out if you want, I'd love some advice. My alternate wincon was Phenax, God of Deception, if that gives you any reason to pick black rather than white.

Completely off topic of ASSFORM,
I was thinking about running Arashin Foremost alongside the new Surrak, Caller of the Hunt in a Green White Warrior build. Thoughts?
A turn 4 hasty 5/4 double striker seems like it could do some damage. If only he had trample...

Sedge Scorpion isn't bad for slowing people down Runlue. Also, add another color (white or black), and Warden of the First Tree is good.

I think Abzan Beastmaster would help the deck quite a bit. The extra draw power definitely helps since you are most likely going to have the highest toughness.

Not only that, but since most of the stuff you would be running all have very low CMC, the draw power would be very useful.

0/6 morph from KTK, Disowned Ancestor, Abzan Beastmaster, Assault Formation, Dig Through Time, and Phenax, God of Deception. XD

Also, is it just me, because I really want to see time-changed cards that are alters to cards in the KTK set, like Siege Rhino, Monastery Swiftspear, and Bloodsoaked Champion. We already have an alter to the Khans of the clans, Meandering Towershell, and Marang River Prowler, just to name a few.

I was thinking Affinity Voltron Storm too Ryotenchi, however it doesn't have any form of evasion, which is kinda important for the deck. I'd rather just run Armament Master and Kitesail Apprentice or Monastery Mentor or Jeskai Ascendancy.

Femme_Fatale Mine was just a brew based off yours. :P I really don't want to steal my Kemba, Kha Regent deck's Puresteel Paladins for yet another deck I wish I could afford. XD
Most of my excitement isn't exactly about that card specifically, its that they are still printing prowess cards.. though this one is pseudo prowess.

for those planning Walls deck, best colors are 
and 
if you wanna push Assault Formation. I can tell you though it's slow and boring as f*** so make sure to include ways to dig through your deck for your key cards.
Taigam's Scheming works well, as well as Commune with the Gods. lastly, I would advise against Wall of Frost as the cost is too restrictive. there's a 3-drop 0/6 artifact you can use as replacement.

Not really that much actually. It's obviously good, but all you need is to return that card to your hand and you lose everything. It obviously works well, but is not superb.
