This seems pretty freaking nuts to me...
http://mythicspoiler.com/dtk/cards/corpseweft.html
for 5 mana broken up I can literally flood the entire board with zombies...
Am I reading this right?

okay, seems much more practical. wording is rather horrible.

So whose seeing Esper Control as a viable option in the new Meta?

Sultai and Jeskai will be the best control decks most likely. Narset works good with proactive spells like Jeskai Charm and burn. For U/B Sultai Charm is more important than Narset, Enlightened Master.
I still think a lot of people will play Esper even though it's mana isn't very good. It'll work at FNM though.
March 15, 2015 10:57 a.m.
I think only Jeskai Wins/Burn decks will play Narset. Control decks are better with Ugin and Elspeth.
Esper control I feel will probably find it's way into the meta with the color hate spells being so strong and cheap allowing for a much stronger deck after sideboarding. Also having 3 hand reveal + discard spells in standart makes any deck having black in it really strong.
I'm still pending between Esper and Jeskai, but also considering Izzet with a black splash, because both black and red get such amazing removal spells.

APPLE01DOJ yeah, I keep switching the names. U/B is draw go and Narset is more suited for tap out decks. The charm fills a lot of holes for the deck taking up very little space in the list.

Narset could be a powerful card for a control deck for her ultimate, but I don't think that will allow her to be played as well there. She works best with burn. Stoke the Flames with rebound is ridiculous.

People trying to rush this process just need to view this as an opportunity to use nostalgic favorites as proxies.

Regarding Narset / Esper control, the lack of a tri-land is difficult to overcome unless White is a minimal splash. That said, Narset is plenty powerful in control as well- rebounding a Crux of Fate or highly-Delved Dig Through Time is pretty nuts, and the combination of card advantage from the plus and high loyalty (read: damage you didn't take) are useful enough even without crazy Rebound plays.

I can't wait to troll people with the new silumgar. Opponent uses planeswalker example narset. Gets to ultimate. Before opponent can use it play silumgar control narset. Ultimate. Now they can't use spells lol

I would love if you guys would finish adding the rest of the cards... maybe just Secure the Wastes. That card is gonna be so bonkers.
Sincerely,
An anxious Modern player

Entreat the Angels is a sweet White X spell, try that for a proxy.

Living Lore + Dig Through Time or Treasure Cruise is a recipe for disaster

I've been debating buying out Commune with Lava on SCG and few other sites all night. I think it might become a standard staple and a modern thing if storm ever takes back off.

For everyone asking about adding new cards to the database: T/O only has a few people who can do this. I promise they are working as fast as they can, and you will see the cards up soon. your patience is very much appreciated.

Going through the spoilers, I realized something.
While, in Khans of Tarkir/Fate Reforged, Efreet people were part of the Jeskai-Clan (Smoldering Efreet, Efreet Weaponmaster, also on the very right of Jeskai Ascendancy), they were apparently considered as "Red" and dropped by Ojuztai. They were then accepted or went to the Atarka clan, where they were welcome. (Atarka Efreet, Commune with Lava shows an Efreet, the right character on Atarka's Command is also one) and I really like that. It's great flavor.

@Chewawahjoe Yeah, that's actually pretty cool. It's interesting looking at the flavor text on the KTK Ainok Tracker compared to the Ugin's Fate Ainok Tracker to see how the altered timeline has changed how that race developed.

I'm actually super stoked for Dromoka, I think Selesnya will do pretty dang awesome.
March 16, 2015 11:33 a.m.
Silumgar will be the strongest I think. Solid removal, creatures, abilities, draw spells. I could see Ojutai doing better with a semi-aggro approach going in, but I'm thinking Silumgar will be stronger
March 16, 2015 11:49 a.m.
It's hard for me to say. I'm going Atarka - they probably aren't the strongest, which is why I'll be looking to splash a third color if I get enough good mana fixing - but there are strong cards all around.

I've been going through the spoilers over and over and over and over again and I can't help it. It just doesn't work. I wanted to play Atarka, Kolaghan and Silumgar and then pick the favorites again, but I like all five clans in Limited. So, I'll play all five. We'll have five prereleases so that's that.

Just as an FYI, Ojutai's Summons has been entered twice. I don't know if that messes anything up, but I wouldn't want Femme_Fatale and group to go through all the trouble of doing everything and come back to realize there's something else to add in and swap out.
Also, I'm going Ojutai.

Does anyone know what all will come in a prerelease pack? Specifically, what distribution of sets will it contain?
Thanks in advance.

TheOnlyCub says... #31
@GotCubes 4 DTK 1 FRF and 1 Seeded Dragon Clan Pack with DTK/FRF commons/uncommons and one DTK Clan Rare. 1/8 Chance being a Dragonlord.
March 16, 2015 12:33 p.m.
I would think it's safe to assume that the seeded pack will also contain the "Monument", and likely the appropriate "gain-land" for the colors.
March 16, 2015 12:39 p.m.
From what I have seen, from the spoilers, I can guess at what 7 of the 8 possible promo cards will be for each clan.
1) Dragonlord
2) Command
3) Rare 2-color Dragon
4) Regent Dragon
5) 2-Drop Megamorph
6) Previous Khan (Replacing Narset with Living Lore or Blessed Reincarnation)
7) Brood-Mechanic Based Card
8) - There are not enough Rare Silumgar cards for anything specific. I am guessing it may be a rare Enchantment, with or without a Brood symbol.
I've made a LIST of cards I think are likely.

Gonna go to a midnight prerelease. Should I buy a box...?
buildingadeck says... #1
I call it Azorius Heroic, too, and I didn't even start playing until M15.
Also, I just wanna give a shoutout to Femme_Fatale for all the work she's doing on getting the cards uploaded.
