LIVEFORCHAOS - We are getting a cycle of legendary two colored Dragons of the ally colors. That was confirmed in Ken Nagle's article on Monday.

CastleSiege should be Citadel, Monastery, and Bivouac as the first 2 are Outpost and Palace. t least that's my guess.

since this set is looking like the battle of khans vs dragons where apparently the dragons got wiped out (maybe with help from Bolas?), I'm willing to bet the official story will be that the dragons end up "winning" by Sarkhan pulling them through to his time and come into current day Tarkir and taking over the clans, or terrorizing them. so their might be enemy color dragons.

LIVEFORCHAOS I'm sure he would. i think this time they are going to is about 1000 years in the past, and Bolas is still alive obviously. he's gotta be pretty pissed if Sarkhan snatches Ugin right from under him, which is a big feat in itself if he manages it, but I'm sure it could happen if Bolas is occupied and doesnt notice its happening. or maybe they grab him before they start fighting. either way Bolas would be biding his time waiting for them to show up and when they do, would definitely go to Tarkir to finish the job.
so maybe the last set will focus around the final final fight of Bolas vs Ugin/Sarkhan/Sorin possibly/whoever else decided to help. hmmm, i wonder if they could figure out a way to lock up Bolas similar to how they locked up the eldrazi, because either they'll have Bolas die which wouldn't make sense or they'll have probably a few of Ugin's team die (cause if they didn't it would make Bolas look weak and not the super ultra dangerous villain he is). so I'm voting they'll figure out a way to imprison him somehow (of course he will find a way to break out later but it will wrap up this story for the time being).

so if all the dragons come forward in time with Ugin, then they all start attacking the clans and end up wiping them out because they're weaker now, theres just dragons left on Tarkir. if they figured out some way to bind Bolas to the plane but someone had to volunteer to stay back so as to make sure Bolas was stuck, if i was Sarkhan i would probably volunteer to do that, as now i would be on a plane with nothing but dragons which to someone who worships dragons like me would be pretty much heaven. that would allow Sorin and Ugin to escape and try to solve the problem on Zendikar which of course would help advance that story.

LIVEFORCHAOS, or maybe that yeah. go and grab Ugin, except then planeswalk to Zendikar instead to throw Bolas off and also use the dragons to help with that problem. then when Bolas does show up, seal him along with the eldrazi. although i hope that doesnt mean there will be eldrazi in standard again UGH.

Not gonna happen. Time travel appears to only be something that occurs on one plane, as far as I know. That and WotC won't merge two completely different planes together in one set where one set is already solved.

yeah i was kinda wondering if merging it with Zendikar would actually happen. it seems more like at the end Sorin and Ugin peace out to go for that, OR go find the lithomancer chick they just made into an EDH card. i've since read that article Maro wrote and it doesnt seem like what he's meaning by the 3rd set being different means they're going to Zendikar, they can always save that story for later.
i think what would be more likely by "DTK will be different" is Tarkir will be changed because the dragons will outright rule in the present time if they don't just wipe out everybody. they'll be small groups of survivors so that there will be some non dragons but i think the majority of cards in DTK will be dragons or dragon related.

i have not read all the comments, but I have a tron deck built that has the new ugin in it if you want to try it out newtron is the name!
The spoilers look sweet so far any thoughts on the new delve time walk over Temporal Mastery?

I had to read Soulfire Grand Master like six times before the whole "instants and sorceries have lifelink" sunk in. I thought its ability was gonna make them into creatures too cause that's just so...odd. Really like it though, definitely caught me by surprise.

Manifest is looking interesting. Yes, it may hit a land and lose value, but, if you manifest a Sagu Mauler or Hooded Hydra, suddenly it works out pretty dam well. Don't everyone forget that it works well with Secret Plans and Trail of Mystery. One fella at my LGS is already running a Morph deck and he'll be all over this. This whole sets looking good so far, U/B Dragon please be good!

ItchiUchiha117 that's really good. We need to wait and see how much there is in FRF that allows us to rig what gets manifested. Otherwise it's too random to be consistently good. Fun as hell and makes for intriguing gameplay, but super random.

unfortunately that doesnt work. if you manifest it, its already entered, but because its up side isn't up when manifested, that ability won't trigger and so when you flip it over for GG (your only option since its just the cost you are paying to flip it and X always equals 0 in these cases) its already entered so the ability won't trigger and it will die from 0 toughness and you won't get snakes cause it had no counters. lolz oopsies

shinobigarth: Except Hooded Hydra has a second replacement effect: As it turns face up, put 5 counters on it. It doesn't matter how it turns face up.

-x-Juuzou-x-x- - Neither mythic spoiler nor mtgsalvation have been the best with translated names, so take both with a grain of salt.
shinobigarth - I'm 99% sure that no one is traveling WITH Sarkhan through time, and that Sarkhan is just going to heal Ugin, making it so that Ugin doesn't die. Then Ugin is still alive in the new future so that the dragons never died off.

AussieBloke - If I had to guess, the Blue one gives "can't be blocked", the Black one gives Deathtouch or Regenerate, and the Green one gives trample. I could see Hexproof for either the Blue or Green one, but I doubt it.

JWiley129 what makes you think that? since Sorin came all this way to find Ugin, i don't think theres any way he wouldn't insist on coming along too especially if they know they're going to the fight with him and Bolas, that they'll need as much help as they can get when dealing with someone like him. besides how is Sarkhan gonna just heal him? he doesnt know any healing magic.

shinobigarth - If you read the Uncharted Realms stories on the mothership, you'll see that Sarkhan is the only one who time travels and Sorin is nowhere near him. Also there is an event at the prerelease called "Heal Ugin" so I'm guessing that Sarkhan is going to heal Ugin. Besides, Sarkhan is a dragon mage, I'm sure he knows how to heal Dragons. Also, it's been highly suggested that Ugin's death is the reason why Tarkir doesn't have any dragons. So I think that Ugin is the father/mother of ALL dragons on Tarkir, because as Sorin was told the dragons on Tarkir are born from Storms.

SpaderAce - While that is true, we only know that Bolas is there in the past, with no idea of what will happen in the future. That said, I have severe doubts that Bolas will show up in Dragons of Tarkir because 1.) he's not from Tarkir, and 2.) there is no reason for Bolas to show up in Dragons of Tarkir aside from fan service.

Can we stop bringing up Alara shards? The wedges are cooler. Not enough stuff has been printed for the wedges, and I'm gonna be super sad if they make it Alara shards (but that would be super weird and confusing, if you changed the clans to align with shards instead of wedges). I don't think that'll happen. And I really hope it doesn't.

i read the article about Narset guiding Sarkhan to the nexus and a door opening just now, assuming thats what you mean, but i dont see where theres anything saying Sorin can't also find it later and follow him there. why else is he in the block? just so he shows up, then time is changed and Ugin is all better, and then he and Sorin just peace out and go to Zendikar? thats a pretty uninteresting way to use the coolest planeswalker (or coolest VAMPIRE planeswalker if you prefer).

shinobigarth - The method Sarkhan is using to time travel doesn't appear to facilitate bringing friends, so I think it's HIGHLY implausible for Sorin to join him. Also, Ugin has been talking to Sarkhan, not Sorin.
