Not going to lie, Wizards, I like your ploy, but it's starting to get annoying, and I don't want have to keep updating the OP).

Wow... that's masterful trolling.
My favorite part is that people think " it could just be a marketing ploy...". No shit Sherlock.

But he's dead. How can he get killed again? Magic? Or is Wizards just fucking with us again?
February 23, 2016 1:34 p.m.
Say what you will about Wizards, but they've done an excellent job marketing the Conspiracy sets. Maybe we'll get a 3rd Conspiracy down the line and we could do a Conspiracy-block draft! Imagine the craziness!

I was wondering why the abbreviation was CN2 and not RBG, ROB, RBR or something like that...
February 23, 2016 4:23 p.m.
canterlotguardianWhile that is true he could be banished or tethered to the underworld similar to morgoth in lord of the rings.
February 23, 2016 9:34 p.m.
According to MTG's FB, Brago will not be making an appearence himself.
:(
February 23, 2016 9:44 p.m.
No you can't be serious D:Wtf wizards I was excited to see him again.

Wizards? More like Troll Hunters amirite?
Just watched that movie last night. It was pretty amazing.
February 24, 2016 9:17 a.m.
Forget Reign of Brago. The set name should be Conspiracy: Who Killed Brago?
February 24, 2016 10:11 a.m.
Everyone, check the mothership. The link is in the newly re-done OP.

That's amazing. I think my favorite part is the 221 220.

I'm with GoldGhost012, I got a good chuckle out of that.

It's like the ending of Lo Scandalo.
All I can think of is "Holy shit. She killed him."
February 24, 2016 12:20 p.m.
It's going to be the new 'Game of Thrones'... whichever character people like best will be the next one to be killed off in CN3. - If they aren't sure who people like the most...? Just kill a bunch off to ensure you startle everyone.
February 24, 2016 1:33 p.m.
Well first we need to find out if everyone was just killed off from the first set. I'm hoping Selvela and Grenko survived.
February 24, 2016 1:50 p.m.
I almost thought Selvala killed Brago again, until I saw the piercings near her eyebrow. Must be a new character.
February 24, 2016 2:26 p.m.
They might have changed the name of the set to "Conspiracy, the Empty Throne" according to the TCG Facebook page.

I'm curious as to what Marchesa's role is in all of this. It seems like something she would do.
February 25, 2016 12:53 p.m.
The chick in the pic's got a pretty distinct rose on her shoulder.

Deck_Master says... #26
I am guessing they will anounce the Throne of Thorns or Throne of the Rose or something like that today. THEN, Marchesa suffers an accident, and the plot goes on :) (maybe the next magic short novel will be about conspiracy who knows)

Wizards! Please stop messing around with my head.
Another HUGE update coming shortly (Edit: Done).

Has a set symbol. Makes it more legit, or just for another huge troll?
We're also back to 221 cards.
February 26, 2016 10:54 a.m. Edited.
Yeah, and the new king...I mean queen has been pictured. She is definitely a new character.
February 26, 2016 10:57 a.m.
I don't like her.
And I woke up this morning and saw that wizards did this... AGAIN!
Though is it just me or is wizards having way to much fun with Fiora? This plane gives them the freedom to do pretty much anything and they're taking that to the max and romping around like there is no tomorrow. I'm excited for this set and I think it's going to be the hallmark set of 2016.
February 26, 2016 11:26 a.m.
Apparently, according to Wizards's Facebook page, it's Marchesa, the Black Rose (I know she looks different, but someone on MTGS pointed out that it's a style inconsistency).
So it was Marchesa who hired someone to take Brago out of the game.

In the picture SimicPower placed it looks like the "assassin" is standing behind a frame. Maybe the frame that "Marchesa" is standing in front of for the new art we got today?

Which is what I thought the entire time. I mean, come on. She's Grixis, for fuck's sake. Doesn't that seem like something a Grixis-aligned mage would do? Kill something that's already dead to cause more death in the future (political uprisings, riots, etc.)?
February 26, 2016 1:12 p.m.
Deck_Master says... #34
Well it is her (marquesa). Confirmed by MaRo. Also this is the end of them messing around. So i guess brago spirit is inside the crown. I also bet the crown will be an emblem or conspiracy that can switch owners and give some buff. Sweet year for mtg this is. Oh boy :)
