Dig Through Time

Dig Through Time
6UU
Instant
Delve (Each card you exile from your graveyard while casting this spell pays for 1.)

Look at the top seven cards of your library. Put two of them into your hand and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.

Interesting to see this alongside Treasure Cruise. Instant speed here is a nice plus, but still not sure if it will ever be worth the cost, except for the occasional late-game bomb.

Damn... As temur I can see use for this. See the Unwritten followed by this is a powerful combo to just keep cranking through the deck.

Not bad for UW control decks. Now that Elixir of Immortality is out of the picture, UW has little need of their graveyard except for things like this and maybe Jace, the Living Guildpact .

But for Delve cards, the number up top is pretty much never how much they actually cost. You only have to exile 3 cards to make this , which is really good. I look forward to playing this.

Appears balanced to me. This is basically Ancestral Memories with Delve.

I like it. It's instant speed and digs 7 deep. I wish it were an uncommon.

I too think this card is excellent at around . That makes it comparable to Jace's Ingenuity , which is a 2+ in control I think. I would even argue this is better as you have much greater selection power.

I like it, but I'm just waiting for some sort of Rest in Peace type cards to be spoiled that would just wreak the mechanic.

Tormod's Crypt is in M15, but unless there's some stupidly overplayed graveyard deck (I'm talking Caw Blade level) no one is going to bother having it in the board.

This could actually work in Modern Storm, I think. 4-5 cards in you can probably have a few spare mana and a full gy.

Playability: I think the right deck will want this. UW Control probably. UG ramp may like to pair this with See the Unwritten .

Flavor: looks like someone is attempting to bring Ugin back from the past.
