Note the eldrazi symbol used is ROE, BFZ, and OGW in the corner of card types.

Eldrazi confirmed???

More likely due to copy-pasting formatting but sure, why not?

Mythic spoiler is not a source of leaked information, it is merely a collection of leaked / spoiled info from reliable sources.

But no, this is not confirmed and I highly doubt that they will be on INN.

What if guys, just what if, Eldrazis do appear in Shadows over Innistrad. We know that Ulamog, and then Kozilek are definitely on Zendikar, but what if Emrakul, after leaving Zendikar, arrived on Innistrad to try and destroy it. This could be why we say Avacyn's collar WARPING instead of maybe cracking or crumbling. This could expound upon the idea of them being EXTRAPLANAR villains and could be another reason that Sorin will then want them dead.

Creating good, colorless-focused limited and standard environments are difficult. Doing so once is hard. Doing so twice in a row is very hard (see: oath of the gatewatch coming up). Doing so three times in a row puts you at risk of stagnancy, too low/boring of a power level, too high of a power level, a bad standard environment (perfect mana with all colorless cards....yawn), and burnout from a large majority of the player base.

My money is on a 0% chance of their being a focus on eldrazi in the SOI cards

my mathematical calculations reveals there are a 2347% chance to see emrakul

but then again... it also reveals we wont have any land in the next 3 sets

SOI doesn't need to FOCUS on eldrazi. Eldrazi can just be a threat. With Emrakul showing up in Innistrad, it could present a situation in which the vampires and humans of the plane, whose relationship before was pretty volatile, are now forced to either team up and fight a common enemy, or be destroyed totally. This will either end with an epic human and vampire alliance, or the plane being totally wiped away from the multiverse. Either way, it seems like it would be cool (can you imagine how big of an impact a plane being totally destroyed would have on MTG as a whole?). So I have hope for Emrakul showing up, but even if she doesn't I think I'm going to enjoy this set a good amount.

I totally expect to see Eldrazi in SOI, though my reasoning is as speculative as anyone else's:

Just in case you weren't aware, Wizards has development code names for all their sets (the full list is here).

The code names for BFZ, OTW, and SOI were Blood, Sweat, and Tears respectfully. Whatever comes after SOI is Fears. Because of the new block format, it makes sense that Tears and Fears are linked (presumably someone was a fan of the old band Tears for Fears?), but I find it super-interesting that Tears is also strongly linked to BFZ and OTW.

So if Ulamog was the Big Bad of the Blood set, and Kozilek ends up being the Big Bad of the Sweat set, that leaves ...

So I was talking to a friend, and apparently Innistrad has a really weird moon. As in the moon is basically a huge hunk of silver and is the reason Innistrad is the way it is. Now don't ask me what that means, but I was told that's what the guide book in an Innistrad fatpack said about the moon. Keeping this in mind, if Emrakul really is on Innistrad, she might have been drawn there by this moon. It might be a huge power source that she might be trying to take control of. So yeah, food for thought.

So what your saying Cyb3rpunkPanda is Shadows would have the exact same plot as BFZ. Humans and Vampires teaming up to fight eldrazi sounds exactly like the current story. I think that the chance of Eldrazi being on Innistrad would take away from the whole return thing and would be incredibly boring after two sets with Eldrazi. Also Eldrazi don't really have much to any synergy with graveyard mechanics that Innistrad is built upon.

Silver Moon eh? So we will have the opposite of Blood Moon then?

Silver Moon

3 colorless

All Lands in play can only tap for colorless mana

@RiskyRyan

Are you sure about that theory? I mean about no synergy between Eldrazi and graveyards. B/c right now there's a couple of Eldrazi creatures right now that pull stuff from exile into a graveyard. And if I remember correctly, don't the zombies and scaabs of Innistrad have abilities that remove certain cards from their graveyards and put those cards into exile for some buff of some kind? I sense Eldrazi have a new slave... ZOMBIE SLAVES!!! ...like the way vamps were Eldrazi slaves in Zendikar lore...

clayperce says... #16

Braxlin, that is an awesome insight. Whoa!

December 7, 2015 3:24 p.m.

RiskyRyan says... #17

Braxlin You're forgetting a few things. One, processors only effect your opponents stuff which means that you can't pull your stuff back into your own graveyard. Skaab Ruinator and the like require that you exile your own graveyard. Now I admit that processors play interestingly with flashback giving you an easy target at the cost of them gaining another spell but this doesn't mean that eldrazi will be on Innistrad. WOTC always plant seeds in sets before. The most famous example of this is Stoneforge Mystic is Worldwake before Scars. The last thing is zombie slaves already exist on zendikar, they're called nulls.

December 7, 2015 5:13 p.m.

clayperce says... #18

RiskyRyan,
On the Processor piece: Yeah, but that doesn't matter ... we can already play cards from an opponent's graveyard (e.g., Agadeem Occultist, Crime, and Memory Plunder) and more of that would be perfect for SOI.

December 7, 2015 5:37 p.m.

RiskyRyan says... #19

Then why not just mill them? It seems way easier and convoluted. Original Innistrad had mill. It had a lot of mill. And I thought that I already said that blocks next to each other have pieces that play nicely with each other. The fact still remains that Eldrazi on Innistrad seems unlikely at best. I think its more likely we have a plot revolving around demons and the fact that the Helvault was destroyed. Plus why would WOTC destroy such a well liked plane?

December 7, 2015 5:45 p.m.

clayperce says... #20

RiskyRyan, I don't disagree on that ... imagining some sort of Processor-based graveyard shenanigans is fun, but I would have a really hard time basing an argument for Eldrazi in SOI on it! I just think processors-only-affect-opponent's stuff isn't really an argument against Eldrazi in SOI either.

My personal speculation is based almost entirely on the Blood, Sweat and Tears code names (up in post #8).

RiskyRyan says... #21

I'm just tired of people going ELDRAZI COMFIRMED FOR SHADOWS!111!!!11!!1 and then providing proof like this. And then a bunch of people who don't know better start speculating on what the eldrazi will be like. I really don't appreciate click bait especially since I think everyone knows in the back of their minds that Eldrazi won't be in Shadows. Also Maro has said multiple times that code names have nothing to do with the block. They found that out the hard way.

December 7, 2015 6:07 p.m.

Braxlin says... #22

@RiskyRyanOK I mean I definitely see your point about the insane hype train, I just meant the insight as more a silly speculation than anything serious. I did forget that the return exiled cards to graveyard ability was for your opponents though, nice catch on that. It would be pretty interesting though to see Eldrazi being free to wreak havoc on the multiverse after Zendikar. Tho that would prolly mean the end of Zendikar in the lore. Which makes me sad since I started with Zendikar when I got into Magic
